Veeday 1/72 Albatros DX1 (D-X1 / DX-1) Fighter, 008 009 plastic model kit

1/72 008 009 Veeday Albatros DX1 (D-X1 / DX-1) Fighter

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

This box says it is a 'Double Kit', but inside there is no Pfalz - only the Albatross. Nicely molded rare kit. The kit has never been started - all parts, decals and instructions have been inventoried complete. Veeday was British company that produced some of the early 'short run' injection molded kits. Production lasted from 1978 to 1982. In all, 16 kits were issued if you count the Cierva C30 RAF and the C30 civil issue as two kits. Less than 1000 of each kit was produced and all kits were boxed. Two bagged kits (Pfalz D.XII and Spitfire 24) were issued after Veeday ceased production by someone who purchased the left-over stock.
