1980 issue with beautiful box art of the Cutty Sark's famous competitor. Highly detailed, large model measures 36 inches long when assembled. Includes complete running and standing rigging instructions; can be built with sails or without. Molded in green, black and ivory plastic. Never started. NOTE: this model includes the fully carved hardwood display base and pedestals from the "Museum Classics" issue; the injection molded stand parts are missing. Inventoried with all other parts present. Includes rat lines, assembly instructions, rigging instructions, billowing sails (in amazing 'excellent+++' condition), decals, flag sheet, rigging lines and metal chain.
