Still factory sealed. Early hardbox issue from about 1966. In addition to cars, ships, planes and figures, Pyro added an excellent line of well-known and not-so-well-known life-sized (1/1) scale pistol and rifle models to their line. In each case Pyro gained access to the actual weapon during the kit design, insuring a very accurate model. This is a full size model featuring minute gunsmith detailing and moving parts. The Western 44 1860 Army model was perhaps the most popular gun of that time and was known for it's sturdy construction and reliability. It's popularity extended well beyond the armed forces as it was used by cowboys, law enforcement, bandits and more.
