1/48 PA69-149 Monogram SB2C Helldiver - Four Star Issue

First issue hardbox dated 1961 and part of Monogram's incredibly popular 1/48 World War II aircraft series that they started issuing in the early 1960s. Features folding wings, retractable landing gear, opening bomb bay doors and dropping bomb (after swinging clear of the propeller!), 'good' cockpit and crew stations, crew figures, rear guns that can be stowed or elevated, canopies that open and close, rotating wheels & propeller and more. Molded in the correct gloss dark blue, black and clear plastic. Never started and complete with all parts, decals and instructions. There is a chip of litho missing on the corner of the left short side; otherwise the box would grade slightly higher than 'excellent.'
