1960s issue of the first Australian fighter aircraft. The Boomerang was developed from the Wirraway as a stop-gap fighter. The prototype flew on May 29, 1942. 250 were built and the aircraft was used extensively in New Guinea for ground support. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
