Revell 1/32 Teracruzer with TM-76 Mace Missile History Makers (Ex-Renwal), 8628 plastic model kit

1/32 8628 Revell Teracruzer with TM-76 Mace Missile History Makers (Ex-Renwal)

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG++

Very large (1/32 scale) and highly detailed kit from Renwal molds in the 1982 History Makers Series. The Mace began life as the XB-61 Matador and entered production in 1951. Over 1000 were built for the USAF. The Mace was a Surface to Surface Cruise Missile with terrain comparison or inertial guidance systems and a nuclear warhead. The transporter, known as Teracruzer, had 12 low pressure tires and could handle a variety of terrain. The Teracruzer was a complete service and launch facility for the Mace, and it even held the missile's fuel. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing one very small part #14 missile bracket. The part is about 1/4 inch long. The other #14 is present so you can cast a new one or make one from scratch. Complete with all other parts, decals and instructions.
