The only large scale model of the record-setting Ocean Liner from the United States Lines. Model has a 28 inch one-piece hull and solid hardwood display base. The SS United States was the fastest ocean liner ever built; her speed was legendary. She was constructed primarily of welded aluminum to save weight. She handily took the 'Blue Ribband' shortly after entering service. Ex ITC Ideal Molds. Large detailed decal sheet. Never started.
