Rare, large-scale action kit from 1960. Revell had high hopes for this model, but the princely sum of $2 was simply out of reach of most buyers who were purchasing kits from 29 to 98 cents. Unique large scale model has many operational features: the landing gear and flaps retract and extend when canopy is opened and closed, movable control surfaces, removable engine panels with detailed jet engine, opening weapons bay with AIM-4 Falcon missiles and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box top is 'very good++' with great color and gloss, four solid corners and no repairs, fading, tears or stains. The box bottom is intact but has significant and high quality repairs.
