Airfix 1/72 Bristol Superfreighter Mk.32 plastic model kit

1/72 Airfix Bristol Superfreighter Mk.32

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Superfreighter was an improved version of the Bristol Freighter. It was designed in 1952 and entered service in 1953 with Silver City Airways. Superfreighter's ease of maintenance, rugged design and ability to carry large loads made it immediately successful with the RAF and eight other air forces around the world, as well as with several airlines. Channel Air Bridge even operated a car ferry service across the channel. Great 2nd logo boxart. Builds to a large model with a 18 inch wingspan. Very nicely detailed with movable control surfaces, opening doors, ramps and aircraft crew. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: parts and instructions are correct for this Type 2 kit, but the decals are from a later issue kit and include Silver city and British United.
