Testors 1/25 Ford 1971 Cougar II Concept Car, 103 plastic model kit

1/25 103 Testors Ford 1971 Cougar II Concept Car

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed Exc+

Still factory sealed. The Cougar II was a Ford 'Concept Car' first shown in 1964 and was touted as Ford's response to the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The Cougar II sported 'Vette-like looks, pop up headlights, up-swept tail, wrap around backlight, seating for two and sports car wheels. Actually, nothing could have been further from the truth. The Cougar II was just a teaser and had nothing in common with the Mercury Cougar, which was based on the Mustang. Kit features opening doors, steerable wheels, opening front hood, detailed 260 CID engine, chrome wire wheels, detailed racing tires, retractable headlamps, tubular frame and complete interior.
