Comet 1/81 Aero Commander 680, PL-24 plastic model kit

1/81 PL-24 Comet Aero Commander 680

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good++

The Aero Commander was a state-of-the-art twin engine light transport in the early 1960s. It was built by Aero Design and Engineering Co. of Bethany, Oklahoma. It was the first twin engine aircraft to be used the President of the United States and was in Presidential service in the early 1960s. This high performance 5 to 7 place was popular with business travelers and had a range of 1,050 miles and a ceiling of 22,000 feet. The Aero Commander led to the Jet Commander, which became the IAI 1121 through 1124 Westwind Business Jet. Aero Commanders can still be seen at some airports in excellent condition, but many are neglected as newer aircraft are in favor. NOTE: has minor assembly. Side windows have been installed. Five windows are installed perfectly - one has some fogging but could easily be sanded out and polished. Complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
