Heller Model Kits, founded in 1957 by the French company Heller S.A., quickly became a prominent name in the model kit industry. Initially focused on producing wooden models, Heller transitioned to plastic kits in the 1960s, gaining recognition for their innovative designs and high-quality craftsmanship.
One of their most notable early releases was the 1/72 Scale Lockheed Constellation, which showcased Heller's commitment to detail and accuracy. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Heller expanded its lineup to include a diverse range of subjects, such as military vehicles, ships, and aircraft, with popular models like the 1/400 Scale French Aircraft Carrier Charles de Gaulle and the 1/35 Scale Renault R35 Tank.
In the 1990s, Heller faced financial challenges but continued to produce kits that appealed to both novice and experienced builders. Today, Heller remains a respected name in the modeling community, celebrated for its rich history and dedication to quality.

Late 1960s 'L' style issue with full wrap-around box artwork and yellow-backed Heller logo. Very nicely molded and detailed. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. The Amiot 143 design was first flown in 1934 and was ordered into series production with the first deliveries in August of 1935. A very capable aircraft for it's day, it was obsolete but still in service with 5 bombing groups when WWII broke out. Brave air crews attacked not only night targets in Germany proper but made daylight raids on bridges at the Sedan during the Blitz.

Early issue from 1966 with great wrap-around box art, yellow log and 'L' kit number prefix. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The C-714 descended from the race planes of the 'Coupe Deutsch del la Meurthe' and became one of the few 'light fighters' to reach series production for WWII. They saw service in WWII in Finland and were flown by Polish pilots of the G.CI 145. Twelve victories and two probables were recorded during it's brief service life.

Early issue from the late 1960s/early '70s with the highest mold quality. This highly detailed model has 173 pieces and is an accurate representation of a Galleon-type of warship from about 1450. Note the 8 towers, which housed men-of-arms for when the ship drew near the opponent. Includes billowing sails in 'excellent' (minor wear only) condition. Old high-gloss 'L' type box issue from the early 1960s when Heller had no part numbers. The Bloch 174 was an excellent armed reconnaissance bomber that first flew in January of 1939. By the time of the German Invasion, only 50 had been made and only one unit operated the aircraft exclusively. Their superb performance allowed the existing 174s to be used extensively with little losses. After the Armistice, it continued to operate with the Vichy forces. Some saw action along side the Allies during TORCH in North Africa. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.
