The range was highly varied, featuring military and civilian aircraft, ships, tanks, missiles, figures (including monsters and more), science fiction themes, automotive models, animals, firearms, totem poles, HO train accessories, electronic kits, Coppersmith sets, prehistoric scenes, and much more.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: NM+

Very rare in this condition, which is investment-grade 'Near Mint+'. Until very recently, this kit was factory sealed; the seal recently disintegrated. This first issue is dated 1957 and the artwork by Ed Marinelli. It is part of Aurora's famous figure Kit line, which had no equal. It was launched with the purchase of the Crown Knight molds and Aurora never looked back from there. The model features a large 1/8 scale US Sailor figure, US Navy display base and a round Navy Medallion and even includes a sheet of decals covering several enlisted ranks. Molded in a linen-white plastic. Never started an inside it is like new. The parts are still in the factory sealed clear bag and includes the decals and instructions. Both decals and instructions are in 'near mint' condition.

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$145
Very rare kit dated 1958. The superb box art was painted by Monaghan, who did all of the Aurora Indy 500 winners. This kit is from Best molds. Aurora purchased these molds just for the Indianapolis 500 Winners and then made only one issue. Molded in a beautiful gloss blue & with rubber tires, spoke wheels, crew of two and some interior detail. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Even the original factory tissue packing paper is present. Decals and instructions are both 'excellent++' condition. This famous car is directly tied to one of racings greatest names, Louis Chevrolet. Louis and his brother He and his brother Arthur came to American in about 1905 and immediately began racing; Louis alone won 10 National Championship races between 1909 and 1919. Louis and Arthur joined forces with William Crapo 'Billy' Durant to form the Chevrolet Car Company in 1911. However, few people got along with Durant and the Chevrolet brothers were no exception. By 1915 they had sold their stock and moved on to Indianapolis. They immediately went back into racing and built their own cars. However, they were not allowed to use the Chevrolet name. The unofficial Chevrolet team was the first to achieve consecutive Indianapolis 500 wins. The first is this kit, the 1920 Monroe Special driven by younger brother Gaston Chevrolet and in 1921 in a Frontenac Special driven by Tommy Milton.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc+
$449
Still factory sealed and incredibly rare in this condition. This is the one-and-only issue from 1965 from Aurora's 'Great Moments in Sport' series. The factory sealed is intact but is fragile at the top short side. The only significant box flaw is a light crease running vertically, located at the right side center - it may be difficult to see in the photo, but if you look close, you can see it. The model features a complete diorama with kits of Jerry West, defensive guard, ball, basket and backboard. Please NOTE that this kit must be shipped insured and double boxed.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG+
$229
Very rare original issue hardbox kit from 1963. The box is in 'very good+' condition with great color and gloss. The flaws are light corner and very light edge wear, as well as a very fine vertical scratch on the center left; it may not show up in the photo but it is there. All four corners are solid and there are no tape or price tags or marks. Inside, the kit is molded in the correct tan. It has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts. The instructions are in 'excellent' condition with light yellowing. This kit must be shipped insured.

This one includes a base with a map of Holland and Dutch Box with hat, wooden clogs and skates. Molded in a deep flesh-like color (almost the exact color of the Pactra 'Flesh' colored paint of the 1970s). The kit has never been started. Inside, the kit is like new. It includes the original factory tissue packing paper and has been inventoried complete with all parts and instructions present. The instructions are in 'near mint' condition.

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: NM
$140
Rare second issue from 1957 in remarkable 'Near Mint' box condition. This model uses the same box art as the original 1956 issue but turns up much less than the first issue. Aurora neatly 'yellowed-out' the rectangular Northern Lights logo and applied the new oval 'Famous Fighters.' This and the other Aurora 1/48 scale armor kits met with glowing reviews from the modeling press at that time for their detail and scale accuracy. Features working bogie wheels and sprockets, flexible working plastic tracks (in mint condition and not brittle), driver, gunner and commander figures, optional position hatches, rotating turret with elevating gun and more. Molded in the correct gloss gray with flexible black tracks. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Both decals and instructions are in 'excellent+++' condition. Even includes the original factory tissue packing paper and a very rare & colorful factory-sealed metal tube of Aurora plastic model cement (the smaller size, just under 2 inches long).

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
$64
Rare first issue from 1956 with Jim Cox 'ground scene' artwork and the 1956-only Northern Lights rectangular logo. Aurora's subject choice here was very wise, as almost every one of our US pilots in WWII flew the SNJ or T-6 during training. Features 'good' cockpit, instructor and student pilot figures, rotating propeller and wheels, full landing gear and more. The model is 100% correct inside for the early issue; it is molded in gloss yellow and clear plastic, includes the early West Hempstead clear rectangle-based stand, correct decal sheet with no stand decal and early logo instructions showing the correct, included stand. The kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: NM
$70
This model is in an amazing, investment-grade 'Near Mint' box. Aurora did a major face-lift on the P-38 in 1959 with fantastic and new Jo Kotula box artwork. Although dated 1959, this kit is from the mid 1960s due to the '130' price extension and the lack of 'Famous Fighters' in the oval logo. Molded in olive drab and clear has the 'triangle-base' clear stand and stand arm. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all pieces, decals and instructions. Instructions and decals are both in 'excellent++' condition. NOTE: vertical stabilizer is about 45% short shot.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG+
$40
Hardbox issue dated 1957, but from the mid 1960s due to the oval logo with the blue outline. Small scale kit with dramatic Jo Kotula box artwork is nicely molded with clear canopy, full landing gear and display stand. This is a model of the very early YF-102 prototype with the straight (non-area rule) fuselage. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Around this time, Aurora issued a series of inexpensive (usually 29 cent) small scale kits that were designed to sell at almost any type of retail location. The line was successful and further expanded - when Aurora purchased the Comet molds, they fit in nicely with this established line.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG
$42
Dated 1961. Dramatic Jo Kotula box art. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The decals have some light damage affecting several of the transfers as they were once stuck to the instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG+
$85
Rare first issue from 1955 or '56. Please note the early rectangular logo 'Aurora Line' logo. This was a fine model for that time and is molded in silver and clear plastic. Includes the correct early rectangular clear base Aurora stand, the correct instructions showing this base and the correct early Tatem decals. Mever started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
