Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+++

$36

From Pyro molds cut just before Life-Like took over production. Well detailed with full engine and engine compartment details, complete interior, separately molded front and rear suspension/axles, spoked wheels, optional top with porthole rear windows and a four piece hood that can be built closed or correctly opened. Molded in ivory with brass plated & clear parts and rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

Huma Model Messerschmitt Me-309 V1/V2/V3 - Bagged, 1/72

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed

$20

When the Me-209 was dismissed as the 109s successor, design work began on the 309. It was intended to be a high speed, long range heavy attack fighter with an ejection seat and pressurized cockpit. Four were built, but the RLM never assigned any priority to the project. By that time, jets showed more promise and work was stopped. The kit is well molded with all recessed panel line detail and has optional parts so you can build any of the first three prototypes. Never started and the parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Huma Model Henschel Hs-132 Jet Fighter - Bagged, 1/72

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed

$20

Still factory bag sealed. Well molded with recessed panel lines. Includes injection molded canopy and decals. Work began on the HS-132 as a jet powered replacement for all the current dive and ground attack bombers which could not function without complete air superiority. Using the experience from the HS123 and 129, Henschel created a simple design where the pilot lay prone to combat "G" forces. The prototype was almost complete when the Russians captured it in 1945.

Hudson Miniatures 1914 Regal Lil' Old Timers Quickie Kit, 1/32

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

$44

Rare. When the Gowland/Revell 'Highway Pioneers' burst upon the hobby scene in 1951, they started a hobby revolution. Plastic model kits were not new in 1951, but successful mass marketing of plastic kits was new. The sensation swept the country, and Gowland & Revell could not make the kits fast enough. The fact that the public was buying these models shocked the successful hobby establishment. One such manufacture was Hudson Miniatures. In the 1940s, Hudson had established a name in making 1/16 scale 'Old Timer' models of automobiles. These were excellent kits with wood and metal parts, but a high degree of skill was required to carve and finish the wood parts. In the late 1940s, they added some injection molded plastic parts (usually acetate wheels) to the series but never considered making a completely plastic kit. When Hudson saw what was happening with the Highway Pioneers, he began to design his own 1/32 scale line called 'Lil Old Timers', which hit the stores in 1954. An early paper fold-out catalog shows 18 models including some real gems like the 1910 International Harvester Passenger Car, 1911 Brush Delivery Truck and 1906 Columbia Electric Car just to name a few. The line was bought by Revell a short time after it's release, and Revell did reissue some (but not all) of the kits. As you would expect from Hudson, this is a nice kit with excellent moldings and detail for the time. The kit is molded in a very bright yellow plastic. Never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions present. The 1914 Regal Coupe is perhaps the rarest of all cars ever built in America. It was underslung, which was rare for the time, and the body was all wood and similar to old horse-drawn carriages of colonial times. The design was sometimes called a Colonial Coupe. The large car seated only two people and could hit 40 mph with it's 25 hp engine.

Huma Model Messerschmitt Me-209 V1/V4 - Civil World Record Attempt / Fighter Versions, 1/72, 2503

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

$20

Features high quality limited-run moldings, recessed panel lines and parts & decals for V1 and V4. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Designed as an enhanced version of the Bf-109, the 209 witnessed many incarnations. Originally designed to use 109 components, this quickly fell by the wayside, and when the final variant (V5) flew in 1944, it was more than 30 mph slower than the current FW designs. The project was canceled and ended Messerschmitt's final bid to build a high performance piston interceptor.

Aurora British SE-5 Scout - White Rectangle Issue, 1/48, 103-69

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG

$65

Very rare version and the rarest of all Aurora SE-5s. Note that the rectangular background for the oval 'Famous Fighters' logo is white and not the more common yellow. The two issues are identical other than the background color for the lower-right rectangle. The hardbox is dated 1956 with the original Jim Cox box art but with the 1957 oval 'Famous Fighters' logo. The original rectangle 'Northern Lights'; logo has been neatly blotted out with a white rectangle of the same size. The fact that the price is still 69 cents (as the original issue) means this issue is very late 1956 or very early '57. Molded in gloss olive green and black. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: there is a short tape tear on the lower long side measuring 1/2" x 1/4" and two dark, translucent tape stains (1" x 3/8") on the upper long side.

From 1956 and the rare first issue of this classic kit. Please note the early rectangular logo "Aurora Line" logo. It is molded in silver and clear plastic and includes the correct early rectangular clear base Aurora stand, the correct instructions showing this base, and the correct early Tatem decals which Aurora issued without a stand decal. (Aurora included stand decals with the introduction of the triangular 'world' base style clear stand.) Molded in silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'fair++' grade is because the box has a thin border of masking tape along the lower sides.

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

Dated 1961 with the great Jim Cox artwork that makes these early Aurora kits so collectible & popular. This issue has a slightly larger box than earlier ones. This is a very good kit for that time, molded in a beautiful gloss silver & clear, with full landing gear and the clear 'Triangle World Map' stand. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. Please note, this is not a reissue of the Comet model. Aurora cut these molds years before acquiring Comet's F-100.
