There are two display options - there is a very nice clear vacuform 'water' display base with two indentations - one for the waterline model and one for the full hull model. You can paint the 'water' blue for a realistic appearance. There is also a display stand for the full hull model. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. 1960s issue of the first Australian fighter aircraft. The Boomerang was developed from the Wirraway as a stop-gap defender. The prototype flew on May 29, 1942. 250 were built and the aircraft was used extensively in New Guinea for ground support.

This kit is from quality Airfix molds and is from the MPC 'Air Combat Collection', which includes ground crew. Dates from the mid 1970s. Note that this issue does not have 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued (possibly with this issue) although MPC continued to distribute Airfix models. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Includes Gold Medal Models "WW2 USN Cruiser/Destroyer Fittings Set" which is made for the Gearing (and other ships as well). This is a large set and contains railings and just about anything else you can imagine. Never used and complete with instructions. The actual kit is of this class DD from World War II in 'as-completed' configuration. Very well detailed with excellent mold quality. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Burkard Martin B-26 Marauder, 1/54

Very rare, high quality kit from about 1942/43 that represents the early B-26. Of the early solid aircraft kits, Burkard holds the distinction of being the largest, best made and most complete kits. However, the high price restricted sales, making them very desirable today. Big scale model features a fully carved-to-shape balsa fuselage that even has the turret hole predrilled, excellent profile-cut hardwood wings, engine nacelles, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, fully formed main and nose wheels, other wood stock as required, metal foil for details, two sheets of color insignia-one with USAF markings and the other with kill markings/silhouettes, a tube of glue (solid and stuck to one stabilizer) and very large and complete plans that include aircraft history and specifications, three views, numerous cross sections for templates and airfoils, antenna details and even text instructions. Never started and complete. Consolidated Model Engineering Co, of 3079 Third Avenue, NY, NY, manufactured the famous Burkard Giant Solids, Bay Ridge Super Gas Jobs and Jackson's Strato Spear. They also distributed Bantam engine factory replacement parts.

Includes rare Microscale decal sheet #48-16 1/48 'Avengers and Helldivers' decal sheet. For the Avenger, this sheet includes VT-28 USS Monterey, NAS Barber's Point Hawaii and Uruguayan Air Force 'Escuela de Especialization Aeronaval.' Helldiver decals include French Navy and NAS Glenview Reserve Sq. Decals are new and not used; complete with paint and marking guide. The model itself is the 1973 White Box issue of the famous 1950s kit. Includes many action features: wings fold properly as on real aircraft, landing gear, tail wheel and arresting hook all retract and extend, turret revolves, machine gun elevates, bomb bay doors open and torpedo drops. Molded in dark gloss blue and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

UPC Mitsubishi Ki-46 IIIA Dinah - Ex-Marusan, 1/50, 5054-100

Purchased new on December 10, 1965 in Cleveland, Ohio. Large scale (1/50) Dinah from Marusan molds. Box artwork is by Scott Eidson, who did much of the famous Revell artwork. Kit features cockpit details, crew, drop tank, retractable landing gear and optional position tail wheel, working rudder, aileron, elevator and flaps. Has decals for three aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
