Life-Like 1932 Lincoln KB Sport Convertible - (ex-Pyro), 1/32, 09342

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed NM

Sold

1970s Life-Like issue from the original 1965 Pyro molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Features detailed chassis with suspension, gas tank and steering linkage, complete motor and interior, spoked wheels, optional convertible top and removable hood. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions.

Hasegawa Boeing B-47E Stratojet, 1/72, 1223

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good

Sold

Very nicely detailed with fine raised panel detail, cockpit, open/closed bomb bay doors with internal iron bomb load, tail "stinger" and detailed landing gear with good wheel well detail. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The B-47 was a very advanced aircraft at the time. The XB-47 first flew in 1947. The big jet's speed was equal to or greater than all current fighter aircraft, so it received radar-controlled twin 20mm cannons in the tail as the only guns. Through the use of mid-air refueling, the B-47 gave SAC it's first all-jet force for nuclear or regular bomb delivery. Although it was tricky to fly, Stratojets flew into the mid 1960s. A program to strengthen the wings for low-level attack was responsible for prolonging the service life.
