Aurora Boeing 727 TWA Jetliner - (727-100), 1/96, 354-249

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+

$95

Rare 2nd issue dated 1963 but with the '249' kit number extension. If you look closely, this is the same artwork as the United 727 from 1962, but the Aurora artist carefully painted out the United markings, added the TWA Starstream markings and removed the UNITED neon sign from the background. Large, near 1/100 scale kit includes full landing gear, clear cockpit windows, full color decals and display stand. This model remains popular with 1/100 airliner modelers because it is the only 'short' body (-100) near this scale. Molded in white and clear with the big, clear 'world' triangle display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Aurora Boeing 737 Commercial Jet United Air Lines, 1/72, 359-250

$129

Rare 1/72 scale 737 dated 1966 with great Roy Grinnell boxart. Third issue with the 2.50 price extension instead of the earlier 1.98 or 2.49. Given the 250 price extension, this exact kit was likely issued around 1967/68. Molded in white and clear, with the large clear 'Triangle World' display base. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Pyro 1934 Ford Three Window Coupe, 1/32, C308-60

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good+

$39

1960s Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box. The model features detailed chassis, spoke wheels, complete interior and dual trunk-mounted spare tires. Molded in a beautiful gloss red and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Ideal for slot car conversion, which is advertised on the side. Please NOTE the that box displays better than the 'good+' grade but is rated as such because there is very light age foxing on the box sides.

Renwal Curtiss Goshawk F11C-2 Aeroskin - USS Saratoga (F11C2), 1/48, 282-149

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair

$45

This is one of Renewal's famous Aeroskin kits, and a rare large one in 1/48. Features markings for the aircraft of "High Hat Squadron," VF-1B commander Seligman aboard the USS Saratoga in the early 1930s. The model has an injection molded inner structure of ribs and stringers like a real aircraft, then the modeler covers it with provided authentic pre-colored Aeroskin fabric. There is no painting needed as elaborate finishes are printed directly on the Aeroskin covering. This results a very realistic and colorful model. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bag and Aeroskin and instructions are present. NOTE the box is rough and missing the left end panel, but the kit inside is in fine condition and an ideal builder.

Hasegawa-Frog Lockheed P-38 J or L Lightning - USAF (3 Aircraft) or ROC Republic Of China Taiwan, 1/72, JS-029-250

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Fair+

$42

Rare Japan Hasegawa/Frog early issue. As you know, AMT marketed Frog in the USA as AMT-Frog. Frog also marketed Hasegawa kits in the UK, but with no Hasegawa identification. What is even less known is that Hasegawa marketed Frog kits in Japan under the Hasegawa/Frog label. The parts appear to be molded in England while the decals, box and instructions were all made in Japan. This P-38 is one of those kits. This is a very early example with the early rectangle logo; the Frog logo is immediately to the right. Most Japan issue kits had special features and this one is no exception. It includes a special round-based clear two-piece globe stand, a unopened tube of Hasegawa cement and additional decals - no fewer than four different Lightnings are represented with paint guides. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'fair+' grade but is noted as such because the right short side is badly water damaged. There is no water damage to the parts, decals or instructions.
