Details other than the engine (which is a kit to itself) include turnbuckles, guy wires, suppression bars, pulleys, wire support brackets, aileron stabilizers, struts, flight instruments, tires and much more. This model is a limited run from the ex-Strombecker molds, which was a very nicely detailed model for that time. Includes extensive decals for NC14715, NC14714 or NC14716 (China Clipper, Hawaii Clipper and Philippine Clipper). Paint guide shows regular Pan Am colors or wartime camouflage. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. These flying boats established routes to China in the late 1930s. Those who could afford to fly them did so in luxury that is unheard of in air travel today.

1958 first issue hardbox kit is correctly molded in brown and ivory plastic with a clear stand. This model is still possibly the best injection molded model of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Excellent detail and includes rigging material and instructions. Kit also features a figure of Orville Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories- "C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight. There is no assembly but NOTE: the two propellers have been sanded to make them more accurate. Nothing else has been done. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing Wilbur Wright figure (the one running). Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes instructions. NOTE: one propeller is broken neatly in two at the hub; it fits back together nicely for a straight-forward repair. There are several very neat adult assembly notes on the instructions.

Very rare model from 1958. One and only issue of the large F-102 with all the extensive ground equipment and crewmen shown on the front cover. Unique kit features operating landing gear and flaps that retract and extend when canopy is opened and closed, removable rear fuselage section and detailed removable jet engine, movable control surfaces, opening weapons bay with Falcon missiles and more. The F-102 is molded in silver and clear while the ground equipment is molded in bright yellow. The kit has never been started. The ground equipment is still sealed in the factory bag, while the F-102 has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts. The two correct decal sheets are perfectly flat and in rare 'excellent' condition. Both correct instruction sheets are present and are also in 'excellent' condition. The box has factory-new color and gloss but is rated 'excellent' because of light to all-around moderate general wear and some creasing. The box tray (lower box) is 'excellent++.' Please note that this kit must be shipped insured.
