When Monogram bought the Aurora molds in the mid 1970s, they reissued the kits that were the most accurate. Since Aurora had recently reworked the molds on the Camel, this was a natural choice as it builds up a very nice kit. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Well detailed kit from 1995. Includes parts to build either version- the traditional bomber or torpedo carrier. Has markings for 'Night Blitz' London attacker H-4 of KG 55 'Griffin Squadron' in early 1941 and KOG 26 'Lion Squadron' which was relocated to Sicily in 1941 to attack shipping as an H-5 twin-torpedo bomber. Includes bonus reprint of Batman issue no. 279 from Sept., 1976.

Still factory sealed but the sea has drawn the box top slightly concave. 1996 Pro Modeller issue. This model is unique in that it contains all parts to convert the bombardier's compartment into a platform for a large battery of .50 caliber machine guns. Also includes exterior mounted rear-facing camera, crew members and weighted tires. Features decals for 345th Bomb Group (the Air Apaches) aircraft 'Lazy Daisy Mae' of the 501 Squadron and 'Sag Harbor Express' of the 499th Squadron. Excellent detail inside and out. Features full interior detail, optional position bomb bay with bomb load, rotating turrets and elevating guns, optional position crew hatch, and rotating props.

1973 Mattel/Monogram release of the famous 'Four Star' kit. This one of at least two 'White Box' variants identified to date; note the direction of the aircraft, the different font for 'Wildcat F4F' and the 'First Navy 'Cat' by Grumman' at the lower left. This is of a very famous series of 1/48 scale World War II aircraft originally issued in the 1960s. Features folding wings, rotating prop and wheels. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are flat, not peeling and 100% intact but have light staining to the backing paper only; the actual transfers have no stains. But there is visible micro-cracking to the transfers.

Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: decals are intact and flat but heavily moisture damaged. You will need to provide your own decals.

Monogram Boeing F4B-4 - 2nd Squardron CV-2 USS Lexington F4B4 - Blue Box Issue - (F4B4), 1/72, PA209-70

First issue from 1968. Markings for Fighting Squadron 2 which operated from the USS Lexington (CV-2) in the 1930s. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. The kit has never been started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing the tiny clear windscreen. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions. The last 'Boeing Bipe' was one of the most maneuverable planes ever built. It had a top speed of 184 mph and was unusually rugged. The box would grade higher, but there is masking tape on the two long sides.

Please note that this kit has the transitional part number system - first, the original PA number then the new forthcoming four digit number. Very well molded kit can make any of 6 versions listed and also includes decals for all variants. Has optional position canopy and landing gear with a very large variety of under-wing stores and gun options. Paint guide for all variants is included. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Decals are flat and 100% intact but have typical age micro-cracking.

1968 issue after Monogram's 1967 transition to four digit only part numbers. Nicely molded kit and a superb classic builder. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: the actual decal transfers are clean, but there are stains to the backing paper. I would grade the decals only 'good.'

Still factory sealed and in investment-grade 'Near Mint' condition. Mattel Logo and SkyStick issue dated 1968. Well molded and detailed model for that time featuring detailed cockpit and gear wells and choice of two canopies. The decals are for Col. Howard, who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. He was an AVG pilot and became the first US pilot to become an ace in both the Pacific and European theaters. His aircraft 'Ding Hao' means 'OK!' in Chinese.
