Incredibly well detailed model of O&K Siemens' Rheinbraun 289 giant excavator. Dated 1984 and has a very large number of parts on numerous sprue. Never started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: Missing two parts. (1) of (3) #15 walkway (a simple flat rectangle, very easily made from plastic stock) and #166, a bracket (can also be made from plastic stock but has multiple flat surfaces at different angles, so it is more difficult. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions.

Revell US Army Tactical Missiles Little John and Dart with Launchers 'S' Kit, 1/40, H1812-98

First and only issue from 1958 with 'S' box art. Little John was a light-weight free-flight rocket that was highly mobile. It could be pulled on it's launcher or transported by helicopter. Length was 12 feet long and the warhead was atomic. The Dart was a very early wire guided anti-tank missile with a solid propellant rocket motor. It was five feet long. An optical rangefinder was used for guidance. The models these are well detailed. The Dart includes four missiles, one launcher, three stands, decals, one optical guidance unit and a crew of three. The Little John includes a detailed launcher with elevating rails, movable support legs, decals and crew of three. The Little John has never been started. It is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present but NOTE: several parts are a darker shade of green plastic than the others. The Dart is inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present but NOTE: this kit has been started. One Dart missing has been very neatly built and partially painted (rather sloppily). There is no other painting.

Features a very large and colorful decal sheet for the aircraft listed, detailed Hispano-Suiza engine, removable inspection panels, machine guns, full cockpit, rotating wheels and prop and full rigging instructions. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decal sheet was missing two decals, but I included them from another partial sheet. So with the two sets included, you get one complete set of decals.

Features 'Hat-In-The-Ring' 94th Aero Squadron markings for Captain Eddie Rickenbacker's aircraft, detailed Hispano-Suiza engine, removable inspection panels, detailed machine guns, full cockpit, rotating wheels and prop, very fine 'fabric' detailing over ribs and stringers and full rigging instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and all of the aircraft plastic parts are present with the instructions. NOTE: missing one figure base and missing the decals.

Revell P-47D Razorback Thunderbolt - RAF South East Asia, 1/32, H151

1971 release of this large-scale kit with RAF South East Asian markings. Features detailed R-2800 engine with removable panels, detailed cockpit, pilot figure, rotating propeller & wheels and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Decals are for GQ-F FL804 of 134 Sqdn., 1944-45. This aircraft is reported to have participated in the reconquest of Burma, and to have flown ground attack missions in support of the Allied landings at Rangoon. It appears the box artist may have intended to depict that operation (thanks to Dusty Rhodes for that information about the box art aircraft).

Revell Lacrosse Missile with Mobile Launcher - 'S' Issue, 1/40, H1816-169

Rare first issue from 1958 in the 'S' hardbox. Not the common reproduction. The box is in 'excellent+' condition with like-new color and gloss, four solid corners (no repairs), no tags or tag marks (other than the original factory sealing tape), no tape or tape marks, no tears, fading and no missing litho. It does have light, general wear. Very highly detailed with working launcher, opening doors, sliding ladders, rotating wheels, rubber tires, moving fins and a launch crew of three. NOTE: there is no painting but this kit has minor and professional quality assembly. Steps 1 and 2 are done - the chassis only. There is no other assembly, and the quality of what is done is superb. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Hermann Marwede (1878-1959) was a notedGerman philanthropist and industrialist, known for his support of civil sea rescue and lifesaving operations.

Very hard-to-find 1967 hardbox gift set. One of Revell's very last in a long line of boxed sets. Includes the large 1/32 scale Spitfire with #610 County of Chester markings and the 1/32 Bf-109F of Werner Molders, Kommodore JG51. The Spitfire features many action features - canopy slides to show fully detailed cockpit, wheels and prop rotate, retractable landing gear, removable cowling shows finely detailed Rolls Royce Merlin engine and more. The Bf-109F features fully detailed engine, removable panels, full cockpit, moving control surfaces, rotating wheels and props and retracting/extending landing gear. The kit has never been started. Inside, both kits are factory new with all parts and paperwork still sealed in the factory bags.
