Unusual kit of the first permanently based space telescope. Model is 7.5 inches (18.75 cm) tall when assembled and was developed from official NASA plans. Features finely engraved panel lines including solar array and high gain antenna - has an opening aperture door to reveal interior telescope details. Also includes a full color bonus poster and an informative illustrated manual. The kit has never been started. Incredibly rare, gigantic quarter scale model with unsurpassed detail. This is the only runabout kit ever produced in this scale. And it is even rarer in never started, complete condition and including all the optional drive and fittings kits. Very few were made due to the high price (over $1500.00 with these options), and three have traded hands since production ceased sometime around 2001. The hull kits includes laser cut plywood parts, balsa parts, mahogany strips, numerous other wood parts, metal hardware, full, highly illustrated instruction book and more. The underwater drive kit includes everything for powered operation but not the motor. The deck fittings kit includes Jack Staff and Flag Kit, S&G 172 Bow Light, Mast & Burgee Kit, S&G 172 Windshield Kit, S&G Lifting/Mooring Rings, Gas Cap and S&G 172 Air Scoop Set. The Cockpit Fittings Set includes S&G 172 Dashboard Kit, Coaming & Upholstery Kit, Banjo Steering Wheel Kit and Floor Shift Lever & Switch Kit. The kit has never been started. The contents of the hull kit are exactly as packed from the factory and have never been disturbed. The two fittings and drive kits are all still in the original factory sealed packages.

Blohm & Voss' entry into the 'Emergency Fighter' competition in 1944. The design was all metal and powered by a He S 011A turbojet for a speed of 621 MPH at 23,000 feet. The design lost out to the Ta-183. Well detailed with additional photoetched parts and all recessed panel lines. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

1984 issue. Well detailed for that time. Features optional position canopy and speed brakes, complete cockpit, detailed wheel wells, drop tanks, bomb load, bomb cart and pilot figure. Contains decals for camo or natural silver finish with very colorful markings. NOTE: this kit has minor and neat assembly. Two drop tanks are built and the seams have some sanding. Quality of construction is 'excellent.' There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

KP Yak-23, 1/72

Early pre- Mig-15 Soviet jet fighter that also saw extensive service in the Warsaw Pact countries. Very much a pilot's airplane, the Yak-23 was well liked and advanced at the time. It was also the first Soviet fighter with an ejection seat. Nicely molded kit with very fine raised panel lines. Contains decals for all three aircraft - Czech Air Force / Polish Air Force / Polish Civil World Time-To-Climb Record Holder. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Innex Sep Polish Navy Submarine, 1/400, 1005

Nicely molded kit measuring just over 8" long when assembled. Full hull model with complete decals and display stand. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Sep was sister submarine to the Orzel and was built in Rotevdamosohe Droogdok Maatashappij shipyard and was launched on October 17, 1938. She sailed to Gdynia incomplete without full equipment or armor. She sailed on her first patrol on September 1, 1939. After failing an attack on a destroyer, she survived constant attacks and managed to sail to Sweden on September 17. The Swedes interned Sep for the duration of the war. She returned home on October 24, 1945 and after repairs began regular navy service for Poland.

AGA Sokol Polish Navy (U-Class) Submarine, 1/400, 1403

Solol and her sister Dzik were the first submarines delivered to the Polish Navy once WWII began. By Feburary of 1941 Sokol was patrolling the Bay of Biscay. The Dzik was delivered on October 11, 1942 and entered service very quickly. Both of these ships achieved significant success in the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas, where they destroyed several enemy ships. Both subs outlasted the war and were returned to England. The Sokol was broken up in 1949 and the Dzik was lent to the Danish Navy in 1946. Her active service ended in 1957 and she was broken up in 1958. Very nicely molded and detailed but certainly not a 'state of the art' Tamiya style kit. Features full hull with propellers and rudder, display stand, color paint guide for two different paint schemes on the back of the box with rigging diagram and full decals for either scheme with flags. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

1996 reissue of the 1950s kit from the original molds. This kit was one in a series of famous Willy Ley Space Models including the Orbital Rocket, Space Taxi and TV Orbiter. Features two separating stages, retracting landing gear, launch pad and 5 figures. Molded in white, red and clear. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bags including decals and instructions. The box says that there is a booklet included. This booklet should be present in the original issue but Monogram did not put them in the reissue.

1965 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. The model includes chrome plated, colored and clear parts. Features detailed chassis with suspension, steering linkage and gas tank, spoked wheels, complete motor and interior, dual rear mount spares and a removable hood.NOTE: the kit has minor assembly. The fenders, hood and engine halves have been assembled. Quality of assembly is excellent - all parts are a very tight fit with no excess glue. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.
