Dated 1972. The famous Memphis Belle was the first 8th Air Force Bomber to complete the 25 mission rotation over Hitler's Germany. This is an all-time classic Revell kit with many operating features including movable gun turrets, movable control surfaces, opening bomb bay, rotating props and wheels and retracting landing gear. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present.

Still factory sealed. Dated 1979. When Monogram bought the Aurora molds in the mid 1970s, they reissued the kits that were the most accurate. Since Aurora had reworked the molds on the DVII, this was one that was chosen as it builds a very nice kit.

Based on the 1950s Yak-25 "S" kit, the Flashlight Whip Fly comes with USSR decals, flight ballast, handle, 12 feet of control line, control ring, colorful streamers for the jet engines and a underside pod which is a in-flight whistle! Never started. The entire kit including all parts and paperwork is still in a factory sealed bag. The long side of the box shows the complete Whip-Fly series with the action box art. Included are H151 F9F-8 Cougar, H152 F-84F, H153 F-89D Scorpion, H154 F8U-1 Crusader, H155 F-39 Airacobra and H156 F-101A Voodoo. Although not listed yet, there was also a Whip-Fly Canberra, F-106 and Yak-25 Flashlight. The Whip-Fly series seemed like a good idea...at first. Revell quickly realized that spinning heavily-ballasted, sharp objects at dizzying speeds in or outside the home near groups of children was not the best idea. The series was quickly discontinued.

1960 issue of the rare 'Whip Fly' series. Hardbox artwork for this series was 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits contain the aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle so that you could spin the aircraft around in circles. This kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals, special whip-fly parts and instructions. Please note that the box only grades 'Fair' due to litho damage and staining as shown in the photo. The long side of the box shows the complete Whip-Fly series with the action box art. Large model is 12 inches long when assembled and includes detachable cargo hold. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, #5 - a clip that holds the cargo compartment to the Eagle. Otherwise includes all other parts, decals and instructions.

Late 1950s kit with dramatic Ray Gaedke artwork. Probably the second issue of this kit. Color and gloss are as new, there are no price tags or tag marks and all four corners are solid and original. There is no fading, no stains and no tape (other than the factory sealing tape. Very light wear is the only flaw. Features two pilots with seats, clear canopy, raised panel detail, full landing gear (can easily be built with gear in the retracted position also), 'rocket' nose, display stand and colorful decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'.
