Hardbox release dated 1960. This is the harder-to-find issue because it has desirable 'Famous Fighters' in the logo border. The one without 'Famous Fighters' is much more common. This was a nice kit for the time featuring 'good' cockpit detail, pilot and student figures, rotating prop and USAF decals. Molded in silver and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is only ranked 'good' because there is light brown age spotting on the box top; you can see it best against the yellow areas.

1970s issue with fantastic box art. This is part of Nichimo's famous 1/500 scale battleship and heavy cruiser line. This full hull kit is designed for operation in water or static full hull or waterline display. Nicely detailed and features lower hull molded in a 'IJN Hull Red' and all other parts molded in a very realistic dark gray. Includes all hardware for motorizing with brass battery contacts, metal shaft, cv joint, switch and more. The kit has never been started. Dated 1967 and has great artwork. This kit represents one of the earliest ships built by Yankee craftsman during the Revolutionary War. The vessel was speedy and handled so well that the British copied a captured brig. They were well suited to commerce raiding but were not of the size and strength needed to take on Royal Navy units. Nicely molded small scale ship model features full hull, separately molded deck cannons, anchors & masts, billowing sails and display stand. Measures about 7 inches long at the longest point. This is a highly prefabricated motor-glider model that includes a plastic fuselage with all necessary holds and cuttings done (down to the nose for perfectly pre-defined thrust angle), anodized aluminum tail boom, factory-built wings with main sparts of pine wood, factory-built tail feathers, electric motor and mount, 6x6" folding propeller, spinner and motor switch unit, very complete R/C hardware pack, light-weight vacuformed canopy (still factory sealed and in superb condition), extensive, full color decal (sticker) sheet and more. Never started. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. Robbe sealed most of the parts in clear bags; those parts are still factory sealed. The very few parts that were never sealed are inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork. The heavily illustrated and large instruction book is in German, English and other languages as well.

Rare 1955 Revell model with the great box artwork that has made these kits so famous and collectible. This large-scale model features excellent detail for that time and almost all items shown in the box art - railings, grates, name boards, navigation lights, vents, whistles, bumpers, bitts and even two crew members. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box rates only 'very good' because it has isolated and light age spotting as shown. The Long Beach was built in Decatur, Alabama in 1943 and was one of a fleet of tugs operated by the Wilmington Transportation Company. She had a registered length of 81.1 feet and a beam of 24 feet. Gross tonnage was 146 inches and she drew 8 feet of water. Powered by a 700 hp diesel, the range was just over 3,500 miles.
