1972 Japanese issue hardbox. Includes Profile book on the Tony and additional Microscale 32-20 Ki-61 Tony decal sheet for 39th FTC; 244& 26th Sentai, 37 FG, 59th Air Com. Reg Akeno Fighter School. The Profile book and decals are excellent. The actual model includes a large color print of beautiful Hien artwork which doubles as a painting guide as the factory decals are included for this aircraft and 4 others (5 total). Very nicely detailed kit featuring full engine detail with removable cowling panels, complete cockpit, optional position landing gear and canopy, and rotating wheels and propeller. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Very rare version with the Bf-109s flying over a period town. Second issue of this famous kit, most likely from 1954 and possibly into 1955. Last Aurora Bf-109 with swastikas on the box art, molded into the vertical stabilizer, on the instructions and on the decals. Aurora modified the molds for this issue, including landing gear and wing-mounted bombs. Molded in the correct gloss burgundy and clear. Never started and 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. This artwork is by Jim Cox. According to his son, Art Cox, and the village is most likely a rendition of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and a stylized Philadelphia skyline and older buildings in Camden, NJ in the foreground. This kit must be shipped insured.
