Classic large-scale 'Action Model' in it's 1966 issue in the famous 'Blue Box'. Most likely the second issue of this kit. Canopy opens and closes to show highly detailed cockpit. Tiny levers under the wings drop 2 bombs. Knob on the bottom rotates and extends/retracts main gear and tailwheel; all gear doors including tailwheel open and close automatically with the gear. Not only do these features sound great, but they work. My built kit is 30 years old and functions like new! Great detail. Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts/decals and instructions present.

Nicely detailed kit of a rare subject. Features full deck detail, cannon, blocks, billowing sails and full rigging instructions. Kit is about 15 inches long when built. The Independence type top sail schooners were built at the Webb and Allen shipyard during the early 1800. Ten of this type were built and the new US Government used them to enforce and collect revenue duties. The ships had a small crew and were very fast for the day. The were armed with two nine-pounders and four six-pounders which could be moved around the deck to fire from different ports as needed. Never started. Dramatic Craftmaster artwork of an Il-2M3 attacking train tracks and a locomotive. The legendary Stormovik gave the Germans nothing but trouble on the Eastern Front. Designed as a heavily armed single seat or dual seat attack aircraft, the Stormovik was very difficult to shoot down; even then if the pilot could crash land it, he had an excellent chance of walking away and flying again the next day. Il-2M3s endless attacked German forward and rear positions effectively and in large numbers till the end of the war. The prop shaft has been glued to the prop. There is no other assembly.
