The glider line included the fantastic Stunt Flier, which for an 'out of the envelope' design, flew very, very well. North Pacific went all out with this new 'guaranteed to fly' cabin design - a big departure from the profile sticks. The kit features sheet balsa covering, reinforced with hi-impact plastic inside. 1955-56 'S' issue. This is the second issue of this kit which has Japanese kill markings on the nose of the aircraft in the artwork. Richard Kishady did the famous painting for this kit and originally included German kill markings on the nose of the P-39. Very shortly after this, Revell began to export kits to Europe. Shortly after World War II, many European countries banned the swastika. Revell changed the box art to Japanese kill markings, making the kit legal to sell in those countries. The box displays well but is only graded 'very good' due to wear. The kit inside has never been started and is 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

1950s/60s kit that stands three feet tall. This kit features some of the finest molding and detail that I have ever seen in an injection molded kit. The box art actually incorporates a photo of the completed model. This has it's advantages and disadvantages - first, it is an amazing model completed. Second, the old plastic is very brittle and some of the lower arches and guard rails have the tips broken off. The good news is that they are all there, and easy to glue back on. NOTE: there has been some assembly to the observation bases. The glue was so old that the parts fell apart very neatly. No other assembly. The kit is inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. Please note that this is a complicated kit with many, many parts. I don't think that Pyro originally made the molds; they original mold may have come from France. If you have any information about the origins of this kit, please email me.
