Very nicely molded model with all very fine recessed panel lines. Features highly detailed interior, engine, crew, choice of four load-out options and decals for four aircraft and painting guide. Markings are included for Fuchida's Pearl Harbor aircraft from Zuikaku (bomb load), Shokaku (many smaller bombs), Zuiho (Torpedo load) or a radar equipped aircraft from the 931 Air Squadron. The kit is intended to be motorized with the Mabuchi Baby motor and has full instructions for such, but the motor itself was not furnished by Nichimo. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Includes complete and never used Photocut photoetched brass detail sets as listed. The actual model was a very limited issue and rare in 1/48. Consists of vacuformed main components, cast metal landing gear struts, prop, gun ring, control stick, machine gun and much more, two sizes of airfoil cross section stock, other strip and round stock as needed, colorful decals and instructions. The vacuform parts are of very good quality. There has been no assembly and no painting but NOTE: several low spots have been neatly filled with putty. The metal parts are still factory sealed and the opened parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.

Renwal Curtiss Goshawk F11C-2 Aeroskin - USS Saratoga (F11C2), 1/48, 282-149

This is one of Renewal's famous Aeroskin kits, and a rare large one in 1/48. Features markings for the aircraft of "High Hat Squadron," VF-1B commander Seligman aboard the USS Saratoga in the early 1930s. The model has an injection molded inner structure of ribs and stringers like a real aircraft, then the modeler covers it with provided authentic pre-colored Aeroskin fabric. There is no painting needed as elaborate finishes are printed directly on the Aeroskin covering. This results a very realistic and colorful model. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including Aeroskin and instructions.

Airfix Great Western Atlantic Ocean Liner, 1/180, 1701-300

NOTE: builder kit only! Please read carefully. Large scale issue with fantastic Craftmaster artwork. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing a section and one part of the display stand. The actual ship is missing 1/2 of the smoke stack (a simply cylinder with raised lines and two straight pipes. The other half is there to use as a perfect guide) and part #192 aft mast cross tree. Inventoried with all other parts, sails, rat lines, flag sheet and instructions present. NOTE: the bowsprit is present, but the fore most end is broken off. Best replaced with a section of pulled sprue or stock plastic.

Dated 1965. Likely the second issue which was released in the later 1960s due to the box design and '400' price extension on the kit number. As with most all early Revell sailing ship models, this one is highly detailed and finely molded. Kit includes vacuform sails, figures of Drake and his crew, preformed rat lines, very detailed painting instructions, rigging instructions, decals and flag sheet. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

1970s reissue of the older kit. Features traditional wood/tissue construction, printwood and stripwood, , pre-formed wooden wheels, nose block, thrust button, prop shaft, tissue, propeller and detailed full size plans. The model has not been started. Inventoried complete. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the 'Dime Scale' kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.
