Rare kit in very good condition. The notoriously thin Strombecker box is very well preserved with excellent color and four solid corners. This model was unique in that a customer could lift the hinged, full-color 'Pin-Up' artwork to view the kit inside. The kit was still sealed with a clear cellophane panel glued to the inside of the box lid. The inner cellophane is intact. Strombecker was most famous for making the finest in wooden kits. During the short time that they made wooden kits, they released many interesting subjects that are desirable today. Nicely molded kit with recessed panel lines and very complete decals. Features crew, ejection seats, instrument side and main panel detail, opening canopy and optional position landing gear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Very rare. This is a very large 1/20 scale Bell 47 kit that uses a variety of materials. It is almost universally agreed that there is no finer or more detailed Bell 47 kit available, and it is widely considered the finest helicopter kit ever produced. The elaborate fuselage is completely hand-soldered brass tubing. Also cast in brass is the main rotor mast and landing skids. Other metal parts include very small screws, springs and door frames. The brass body is completely assembled and primed at the factory. Quality of workmanship is professional. The package contains a specially cut foam insert so that the brass parts cannot be damaged in transit. Under this foam is a large, long brown box. Inside is the reminder of the parts and they are still factory sealed. The parts are injection molded in ivory and clear. There is a large decal sheet for what appears to be many helicopters and full instructions. All internal packing material is in mint condition. The kit has never been started and all parts, decals and instructions are factory bag sealed. The box is near mint. Gakken began plastic kit production in 1965 and used Gakken and G-Mark as logos. As far as we know, three different kits were produced. Production of these kits ended in about 1985. Gakken has actually been in manufacturing since 1947 and still produces other toys and kits of items such as an Edison Phonograph, telescope, radio, etc.

Very nicely molded model with all very fine recessed panel lines. Features highly detailed interior, engine, crew, choice of four load-out options and decals for four aircraft and painting guide. Markings are included for Fuchida's Pearl Harbor aircraft from Zuikaku (bomb load), Shokaku (many smaller bombs), Zuiho (Torpedo load) or a radar equipped aircraft from the 931 Air Squadron. The kit is intended to be motorized with the Mabuchi Baby motor and has full instructions for such, but the motor itself was not furnished by Nichimo. Never started. All parts are still in the factory sealed internal bags with decals and instructions.

Hard to find kit from the late 1950s. The Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. Wonderful boxart by Russell W. Arnold. The Paddy is molded in light blue, includes two figures, vacuform billowing sails, a display stand, hanging lanterns and rigging instructions. This kit has never been started. It is either still in the internally sealed factory bag or has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

1972 issue from the original molds. Box is in excellent condition with brilliant colors and no tape or price tags or marks. Like all Monogram car kits, this one is very nicely molded and detailed. Features a rolling chassis with separately molded drive and suspension parts, highly detailed V8 engine, hinged hood, removable convertible top, retractable headlamps, whitewall tires and full interior. Molded in bright red, clear, black, white, chrome and with rubber tires. Never started. NOTE: missing one hood hinge (can be cut from flat plastic stock) and part B28, one rear inner brake drum. Bagged kit - not box. The box is shown for reference only. 1962 issue. Well detailed, large scale model measures 15.75 inches long when assembled. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing the following parts: small ammo box, (1) prop shaft and flag staff. All parts could be made from stock plastic. Does not include decals. Instructions are photocopied. Inventoried complete with all other parts. The Aaron Ward served as a station ship during the first trans-Atlantic flights of NC-1, NC-3 and NC-4 in 1919. During that time she was commanded by the famous Commander R.A. Spruance (later Admiral) of Midway fame. After that she served in the Pacific Fleet. In 1940 she became part of the famous Lend-Lease arrangement and was renamed HMS Castleton and saw heavy duty as a convoy escort in the North Atlantic till 1944.

Rare Revell of Great Britain issue from about the late 1960s. The unique box art shows the Catalina that discovered the Bismarck, complete with the German Battlewagon below. When the RAF Catalina discovered the Bismarck, the co-pilot was an American officer, Ensign Leonard Smith. He was one of only 17 pilots loaned to the RAF to help them gain experience with the Catalina. The model has not been started.
