The famous Queen Elizabeth was the largest liner in the world when launched in 1938. She saw extensive service during WWII as a troop transport. After the war, she and the original Queen Mary formed the backbone of Cunard Atlantic Service in unparalleled luxury. Some customers favored the Queen Elizabeth for her modern lines and more modern interior fittings. She was supposed to be on display in the USA on the opposite shore of the Queen Mary, but buyers never materialized. While serving as a 'College Ship' she burned in Hong Kong Harbor where she was scrapped, but only after appearing in a James Bond film as a MI-6 hide-out. Well done model with good details. Never started and complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

From Heller molds. The Amiot 143 design was first flown in 1934 and was ordered into series production with the first deliveries in August of 1935. A very capable aircraft for it's day, it was obsolete but still in service with 5 bombing groups when WWII broke out. Brave aircrews attacked not only night targets in Germany proper but made daylight raids on bridges at the Sedan during the Blitz. Never started. Note: this kit is not in it's original box. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside and has not been started. Nicely molded and detailed kit. Features opening and closing clamshell nose cargo doors, good cockpit detail, crew of two, moving ailerons, elevator and rudder and front loading ramp. Never started. It was designed in 1952 and entered service in 1953 with Silver City Airways. Superfreighter's ease of maintenance, rugged design and ability to carry large loads made it immediately successful with the RAF and eight other air forces around the worlds, as well as with several airlines. Channel Air Bridge even operated a car ferry service across the channel.
