Revell Kawasaki Ki-45 KA1c Kai Toryu - Japan Issue, 1/72, H104-300

1972 Revell Japan issue. Well molded kit. Has decals for an aircraft operated by the 3rd Chutai of the 53rd Sentai based at Matsudo airfield in December, 1944. Originally designed as a fighter, the Toryu (Dragon Slayer) was used to oppose B-29 raids. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

NOTE: one of the decal transfers is flaking.

Still factory sealed. 2001 version. Nicely molded and detailed kit with 66 parts and traditional Monogram quality. Features detailed cockpits, optional position canopies, detailed wheel wells, GTD-21 Drone and ground handling cart.

Aurora AH-56A Cheyenne Copter, 1/72, 502-130

First issue hardbox from 1968 with excellent color and gloss. This model is one of Aurora's excellent late 1960s efforts. They knew that the old 1950s molds were outclassed, so they cut a new series of molds including several ships and helicopters. They were of much higher quality, and this is one of those kits. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions. The box displays better than the 'excellent+' rating, but it is rated as such due to one closed split on the upper left corner.

Monogram 1932 Duesenberg SJ Convertible - Rollston Body, 1/24, 2302

Dated 1979. Very highly detailed and well molded kit. Molded in maroon, black, white and chrome with real rubber tires. Fully detailed rolling chassis, engine compartment and interior. Wheels roll, hood and convertible top can be removed and the rumble seat opens and closes. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions.

Revell 1907 Renault Limousine Highway Pioneers, 1/32, H53-98

1960 issue with very colorful box artwork in near mint condition. Molded in brown plastic. The model has not been started. The parts are still sealed in the original factory bag and includes instructions. Before the 1950s 'model building' never made the top 10 list of boy's activities. Hobbies were nothing new to America in the 1930s/40s, but they were not mainstream. Shortly after the turn of the century, many dedicated modelers built flying or static airplanes, ship, train, automotive or other subjects. Basic kits existed, but the majority of these models were built from scratch, which demanded a high talent level developed from years of experience. That changed in the early 1950s. The phenomenon of the Revell/Gowland & Gowland 'Highway Pioneers' car kits was a significant force in proving that model building as a hobby could have mass appeal, provided that the kits were easy enough to build and finish. These 1/32 scale vehicles could be built in an hour after dinner and looked much like the real car. The Highway Pioneers series lead to the production of other subjects in plastic and the effect was revolutionary. By the early 1960s, model building was the #1 past time of American boys.

From 1989. Very highly detailed and well molded kit. Builds a full rolling chassis just like the real automobile. Features complete suspension, exhaust and chassis detailed, complete engine and engine compartment, removable hood and full interior detail. The wheels roll and the convertible top and boot can be removed. Molded in white, clear and with a great many beautifully plated silver satin and gold parts. With real rubber tires. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory bags (to protect the plating and includes instructions. Please note that the factory did not seal these bags, but the kit has been inventoried 100% complete.

Rare, out-of-production kit. The only 1/700 Iron Duke kit available in the 1916 configuration. Features very nice resin molded hull and parts, two photoetched frets and excellent instructions. The only model of the QE in the 1915 configuration. Rare waterline kit featuring superb resin cast hull (with greater detail than is possible with injection molding), resin detail parts (larger parts), a great many precision metal cast smaller detail parts, metal stock and full instructions. The instructions are heavily illustrated and detailed and there are full-size elevation and overhead views which show rigging detail. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. Please note that this is a very highly detailed kit and recommended for experienced model builders.

Otaki Dornier Do-X Flying Boat - (DoX), 1/144, OT2-17

Kit is very well detailed and molded. Has over 110 parts and a 13 inch wingspan. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Famous German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in oceanliner-like luxury. A tour of South and North America was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP.
