1960 hardbox reissue of the 'S' kit. This is the Famous Aircraft Series box, which is almost identical to the Famous Artist Series box (the name of the artist is removed for this version). NOTE: the special edition decals are fine, but the stock one has some material missing on 2 of 4 intake warnings and some very small markings. Hard-to-find kit from 1972. Young Model Builder's Edition. Aurora's 'Wurst' is a hot dog wagon based on a Ford Model 'AA' Heavy Duty Truck Chassis that was made into a fire truck. Ford did not directly make fire trucks in 1930, but other manufacturers added bodies to this chassis including fire equipment. Nicely detail kit can be built one of two ways. Features detailed engine, full interior, separately molded exhaust and driveline detail, full kitchen and custom accessories as well as man and woman figures. Molded in purple, gold plated plastic, clear and with a yellow umbrella. The kit has not been started. NOTE: missing decals. Inventoried with all parts and instructions.

Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'.
