Rare original issue. This is a one-owner kit purchased new in Lexington KY in the early 1960s. The model is very well molded and with excellent detail for that time. Model features full engine and detailed compartment, opening hood, full interior, spotlight, gearshift/turn signal/tach assembly, seat belts and side view mirrors. Molded in white/ivory, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate parts and rubber tires. Chrome and clear are in 'excellent' condition. Inside, the kit is like new. It has never been started and is inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The long, low lines and graceful fins stretching from the "A" pillar to the taillights made for a beautiful Desoto. Sales in 1960 lagged, however. It was not that the car was bad - the cars were reliable and stunning performers. Desoto was more the victim of corporate political infighting than anything else. The 1960s were the last full line, with a brief introduction of two Desoto Automobiles in 1961. Since Desoto cars were still in demand, some dealerships even sued the Chrysler Corporation for discontinuing the line.

The first issue of one of this classic model kit. Big 1/5 scale. The Visible Woman (and Visible Man) kits were part of the extensive Renwal science series. The original release is from 1959 and is extensively detailed. The kit features a large clear body (shown actual size on the box - 15 inches tall) with a complete skeleton. You can assemble, remove and replace all of the organs. This kit also includes a small box containing 'The Miracle of Creation'. Inside are optional parts to represent a 7 month pregnant female. Additional instructions are included for this. The figure can be assembled with or without the 'Creation' module. The model is molded in clear, pink and bone ivory and also includes a display base and the two sets of instructions. The kit has not been started. All parts are still in the factory internal display and factory sealed bags. This kit also contains the excellent anatomy booklet.

Lights are available from HO train catalogs and contacts can be made from brass strip stock.

Rare promotional in superb condition and includes the original box. The box is stamped "GREY WHITE CORVAIR." The model was obtained on October 29, 1965 by a discriminating adult collector in Lexington KY. The color and gloss are like new. The chrome is intact and 'very good' with the usual 'crinkle' defect and loss of brilliance. The wheels are like new and prove that it has never been played with. There is minimal body warp (at the center) and the clear is in 'near mint' condition. I would grade this one 9 out of 10 with 10 flawless. The main deduction is because of the slight center warp and very light box scratches on upper surfaces.

Very rare, all original promo with friction drive. This is a one-owner model, obtained new on January 2, 1963 in Lexington, KY by a very discriminating collector. The box is original and is stamped 'AMER-2D SED Friction Coral 6 Black Acc". The car is complete and in amazing condition; I would rate it 9 out of 10, with 10 being flawless. There is a light scratch on the roof from the box top and minor age pitting on the rear bumper. Beyond that I am hard-pressed to find any flaws. It has never been played with or rolled.
