Perfect 'Classic Builder' kit! StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood and plastic kits. The carving is done to the final shape. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display. This one includes beautiful hardwood parts, a clear plastic canopy, full decals in 'excellent' condition as shown, sandpaper, sanding stick and photocopied instructions. The kit has never been started. It is either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried complete with all parts with decals and instructions.

Small scale ship kit from the Table Top Navy series. Very nicely done kits for their time. Can be built full hull or waterline. Features propeller and shaft detail, separately molded turrets, stacks, many superstructure parts and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. Many of the Pyro kits came from Eagle (then Eaglewall) molds in England. Eaglewall went out of business around 1962 and Pyro acquired at least some of the molds. Pyro reissued some of these kits in the mid 1960s with AJ Rudisill artwork. Evidently the line was successful, as Pyro then cut some of their own molds and expanded the series significantly. The earlier issues have the full color artwork and a three digit part number. Later issues have a 'B' or 'C' in front of the three digit kit number; some have simplified box art that is a modification of the original Rudisill paintings by painting out most of the background. Pyro issued these kits into the late 1960 when Life-Like took over the molds. Some were reissued by Life-Like.

Rare model kit from the early 1960s and nicely molded for that time. Both props are designed to be motorized with the Faller No. 1001 Miniature Electric Motor (not included, Faller sold them separately.) Features extended or retracted landing gear, separately molded dive brakes, clear canopy and nose and decals for multiple aircraft. Molded in a stunning swirl green and butterscotch brown, gray, red and with clear canopies & display stand. The kit has never been started. The small parts (with motorizing-specific parts) are still in the factory sealed bag. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete, including decals and instructions. Even the Faller packing quality inspection slip is still present.

In the 1970s, MPC released the very popular Profile Series. Inside each box was a quality Airfix kit but with MPC decals to build any of the three aircraft shown on the box top. Never started. 1997 reissue is from the original 1950s Strombecker molds. One of a series of classic and very famous Strombecker sci-fi kits. The model measures 24 inches long when assembled. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'excellent' quality sub-assembly as follows: (3) 'tubes' assembled (3 parts #1 and 3 parts #2). There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. Designed by Krafft Ehricke of Convair's Astronautics Division as a 200 foot long, 600 mile-high orbiting laboratory for 4 men.

Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Dated 1963 and from ex-Comet molds. This is the largest of the two Comet molds and has cockpit and cabin clear windows and full landing gear. Molded in gloss gray and clear. This model was given a clear Aurora two piece 'triangle world' stand, unlike many of the other Comet kits which only had a modified version of their original stands included. Of course this is not the production KC-135 but a model of the Boeing prototype with USAF decals. The kit has never been started.
