Very rare science fiction kit from the late 1950s that Strombecker issued in cooperation with Walt Disney's classic motion picture 'Man In Space'. The RX-1 features a 1st stage with 29 engines, 2nd stage with 9 engines, third stage with one engine, and a reusable RX-1 Shuttle on the top. Model features all motors, four removable stages, launch pad and gantry with large colorful decal sheet in exceptionally good condition. Molded in correct gray plastic. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

Hasegawa F-15E Strike Eagle is complete with all parts, instructions and decals but has "professional" quality assembly to the two wing halves only and very neat airbrush painting of many parts to the correct green color on the box top. The Hasegawa F104 is complete with all parts, decals and instructions but has 'professional' to 'excellent++' quality assembly as follows: seat to floor, air intake splitters to fuselage, speed brakes (closed position) and gear doors to the closed position. The Academy #2138 Apache has minor interior assembly to 'professional' quality. The parts are loose and it is NOT inventoried complete but is sold "as is." Over 90% of the kits from this collection are complete, so your odds, while not perfect, are excellent.

The plastic color is original and has good gloss but also has general wear and some age foxing as shown. The clear is 'excellent' but can use cleaning. The tires are almost like new - if it was played with, it was not for long. No parts are missing and it is original except that some of the fine trim (door handles, trim, etc) has been correctly and very neatly adult painted. The quality is good enough to pass for factory paint. NOTE: The model is unmarked, so the true manufacture is not known. However, almost all of these (if not all) were made by Banthrico.
