Heller Bloch 174, 1/72

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

$29

Old high-gloss 'L' type box issue from the 1960s with no part number. Excellent armed reconnaissance bomber that first flew in January of 1939. By the time of the German Invasion, only 50 had been made and only one unit operated the aircraft exclusively. The excellent performance allowed the existing 174s to be used extensively with little losses. After the Armistice, it continued to operate with the Vichy forces. Some saw action along side the Allies during TORCH in North Africa. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

Nicely molded with very good interior detail for all crew stations, rotating propellers & wheels and well detailed landing gear as on the actual aircraft. Never started. Factory bag sealed with decals and instructions. The Leo 451 was a greatly improved French medium bomber design of the late 1930s. The first flight of the 451 took place in March of 1940. Eleven groups of LEO 451s served from Vichy France and French Naval Air Forces in North Africa. The aircraft ended active service when the groups changed out for the B-26.

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

Never started. Inventoried complete with all pieces. Includes instructions and color flag sheet but NOTE: they are quality photocopies. NOTE: the delicate bow parts are broken but complete and fit back together well for a straight-forward repair. This is very common due to how Heller packed the parts.

Heller Mirage IIIE / Mirage IIIR / Mirage 5BA - France / Belgium / Spain, 1/72, 253

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: VG+

$24

1970s Heller 'Black Box' style issue. Nicely molded and detailed kit with optional parts and decals for the three air forces listed. Heller Etendard IV with Automatic Landing Gear and Speed Brakes, 1/50, L500

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc

$249

Very rare large-scale kit with fascinating operating features. This early 1960s issue has very high gloss box top artwork in 'excellent' condition. Flaws include very light corner creases as shown, some light general wear and a small piece of clear tape on the top long side. The model uses a complex series of 6 cogs and gears with wire springs and twine to make functioning landing gear and speed brakes. When you lower the arresting (tail) hook, the landing gear doors open and the nose and main wheels extend. When you raise the arresting hook, the landing gear retracts and the doors close. Furthermore, when you pull out the parachute release at the tail, the speed brakes lower; when you close it, the speed brakes close. The kit is molded in the correct silver for the airframe, white cogs, gears & pilot, clear two piece opening canopy, real rubber tires and metal springs. There is a large gloss black Heller stand as well. Never started. All of the small parts (white plastic, springs and internal linkage for the operating systems) are still in the factory sealed bag. All other parts are inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions present. Even the original Heller Quality Control paper is present. The instructions are 'excellent.' The decals are flat and intact with the wax covering sheet and 'very good.' The only flaw is the usual age yellowing. Postal insurance is required for this kit.
