The Demon was an early carrier based missile armed interceptor. The F3H-2 carried two early Sparrow and 2 Sidewinder missiles. The Demon was replaced in 1964 by the well known F-4H Phantom II. Kit is cleanly molded with recessed detail and features decals for VF-31 USS Saratoga (1960) and VF-64 (1958). The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions.

1966 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. The model includes rubber tires and color, chrome plated & clear plastic parts. Features detailed chassis with suspension, steering linkage and gas tank, complete motor and interior, spoked wheels, removable hood and dual mount rear spares. Classic Cold War East German model of this large Soviet helicopter with a unique gondola below the cockpit for the crane operator. It is very nice kit for a KVZ kit with good detail. Molded in white, silver, clear and black plastic and includes full color large decal sheet with Aeroflot markings. Never started. The actual helicopter has been inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present but NOTE: missing display stand. KVZ was the logo used by this East German kit manufacturer from 1969 to 1973. During this time, some fantastic Cold War kits were produced of Russian Aeroflot Airliners and Military Helicopters and Aircraft.
