Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc
$42
This model is unique because it is designed for motorization and also has provision for working head lights. Very nicely molded. There is a full interior, optional convertible top in the 'up' position or a 'down' position boot, steerable front wheels and more. However, Scale Craft/Imai did not furnish the common FA-130 motor, motorizing hardware or two small bulbs with this kit; they had to be purchased separately. Modern LEDs would work perfectly. The one piece body is molded in white. All other parts are molded in black, clear and chrome plated plastic and with rubber tires. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The instructions show how to install the motorizing accessories and shows photos/specs of the parts but explain that other than the shaft and main drive gear, the other motorizing parts are not furnished and must be purchased separately.

This is the original 1967 RB-66 issue, not the 1990s reissue. It is a fine model from the original 'Four Star' molds and features rear gun turret, cockpit with three crew, opening bomb bay and bomb. Molded in gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. The box displays much better than the 'very good+' grade but is rated as such because there is tape residue at the center of the two long sides. When the Air Force phased out the B-66, they converted many into ECM aircraft, hence the RB-66A. Monogram seized this opportunity as a new lease on life for the B-66 molds and the result was this issue as RB-66 aircraft were being used in Vietnam in the late 1960s.
