The scale is not given but the large arched 'NCC-1864' decal at top/center/left is about 4 inches long from left to right. Never used and mint from climate controlled storage. This model is part of a very popular and successful line of 1/48 World War II kits that Monogram began issuing in the early 1960s and continued to do so into the 1980s. Features propeller drive electric motor, pilot figure, full landing gear, bombs & rocket load-out and more. Includes a fine decal sheet with extensive cowl checkerboard and invasion white-black stripe markings. Usually molded in green and clear plastic (although I cannot confirm that). Still factory sealed but the seal has shrunk with age and drawn the box top concave as shown. On April 9, 1935, this magnificent custom built automobile was delivered to Rudolph Carracciola, the Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix team driver. Rudy, with an impressive win record of 23 wins and 23 second places, had chosen this vehicle for his own personal transportation. Powered by the supercharged 5 liter engine, the large and heavy vehicle was an excellent performer and one of the finest cars of the 1930s. Highly detailed kit with over 150 parts. Build up a rolling chassis just like the real car. The model is molded in red, black, clear and a large tree of chrome-plated parts. Features steerable wheels, removable boot, highly detailed engine and full chassis, double spare tires, detailed interior, opening hood and chrome spoke wheels.

Still factory sealed. This rare first issue was is directly from the collection of the original owner. The Type 1 logo paper header is in 'Excellent++' condition. Molded in the correct white plastic with the correct early, two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's first logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type One' or 'T1' logo and was used for short time in the 1950s/very early 1960s.

Rare first issue hardbox from 1958. Not the 1990s reissue. Features a detailed, two-stage Aerobee-Hi missile with separating stages, firing arm with working piston and cylinder, trailer with movable wheels & tow bar, detailed crew figures and more. Molded in the correct gloss gray and white. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The decals and instructions are both flat and in 'excellent+' condition. The actual top of the box (the section shown in the photo) is in 'near mint+' condition; however, the overall box is graded 'excellent++' because there there is residue from two short pieces of non-factory tape at the center of both long sides and edge wear on the lower side edges.
