Rare 1975 Revell Japan issue with decals for 7 aircraft - 12th 1 sq, 14th, 9th 2nd Sq, 7th 3Sq, 8th and 1st (The other I cannot tell the group or squadron). The box is excellent with great color and gloss. Comes with large full color painting guide. Kit features interior detail, internal bomb load, optional position landing gear, movable turrets and optional position bomb bay doors. Molded in green, gray and clear. Never started. The gray parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the green and clear parts are not sealed and have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions.

This early Jim Shirley kit features stunningg quality high-definition resin castings. The waterline hull is simply beautiful. There are numerous other resin details parts of identical quality and a fret of PE parts that includes railings, two types of ladders, anchors, fantail aircraft crane, radars and more. Cylindrical metal or plastic stock will be required for masts, antennas, etc. and is not furnished with the kit.

The kit features high-quality vacuform main airframe parts that are factory pre-cut and have recessed surface details, injection molded plastic propellers and undercarriage, clear vacuform canopy & blisters (in excellent condition and not even yellowed), decals (for Moss only) and comprehensive, illustrated instructions. Still factory sealed. From the 1960s and quality Frog molds. Features fine, realistic raised panel detail (no rivets), separately molded ailerons, rudder and elevators, crew, rotating top turret, very good engine & landing gear detail and more. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
