Molded in the correct silver plastic with a clear canopy and correct early. two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix used the 'T2' logo from the late 1950s to the early 1960s.

Features extensive decals and stencils for all three aircraft; even has templates for an more accurate ventral left & right fins. This and the earliest Microscale decals say "Mfg. By Martin Kransel Studio Culver city, Calif." and have the unique font shown at the top. Also, these and the other earliest Microscale decals did not include a paint and markings guide because the markings were generic. These decals came from an extraordinary collector. His kits stash started at the early 1930s (wood) and continued up through the 1970s. He also collected accessories as far back as the 1930s, including metal aftermarket details for solid wooden aircraft and aftermarket decals for stick-and-tissue models from the 1930s forward; it was only natural that he would also collect decals for his extensive plastic model kits. 1950 hardbox issue in amazing condition that shows off the amazing Ray Gaedke artwork to full effect. This early short-nose, large 1/48 scale Tiger features movable ailerons, rudder & elevators, detailed engine with opening inspection panel, detailed main gear wells, pilot figure, ejection seat, underwing rocket loadout and more. Includes the famous clear Lindberg display stand. Never started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please NOTE that the box displays as 'Near Mint+' but is graded 'Excellent++' because there are two factory tape litho pulls at the center of each long side. One pull is 1/2 x 1/2 inch and the other is 3/4 x 3/4 inch.

Classic large 13 inch wingspan kit that is made of solid Western Pine - not balsa. It builds up into a very impressive display model and features completely factory carved fuselage, wings, elevators, rudder and nacelles, sealed envelopes of wood filler & Casein glue, two grits of sandpaper, sanding stick, steel nose weight and the factory small paper envelope containing four completely formed plastic propellers with shafts and more. This issues has the large hardwood 'teardrop' shaped display stand with a completely formed metal arm. The large, extensive, full color Pan Am decal sheet in remarkable 'excellent++' condition. Strombecker's legendary large, fold-out instructions & plans are also 'excellent++'. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Before plastic kits were introduced, Strombecker was famous as the premier hardwood preshaped model manufacture. In the 1940s and 1950s, Strombecker kits were flawlessly engineered but not inexpensive. All wooden parts are hardwood and are pre-carved to shape - usually only a quick sanding would finish them.

Dated 1975. This is Revell's own cut away nuclear SSBN, not the Renwal reissue. The molds were slightly modified from the 1961 originals. Features highly detailed interior with nuclear power plant room, reactor room with shield, 'Sherwood Forest,' instrument and chart room, mess and galley, crew's quarters, torpedo room, opening missile hatches, Polaris missiles and much, much more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: two pieces are a different shade of gray plastic; they are from an earlier issue of this same kit. There are two decals sheets and NOTE: one is in fine condition but only about 70% complete. The other sheet is a full sheet but badly damaged. The instructions are in 'very good' condition.
