Includes a factory sealed Aires #4232 F3H-1 Demon Short Tail Conversion of high definition resin. The actual model is all new, very highly detailed and beautifully molded. Features all fine recessed panel lines, many brass photoetched parts, excellent cockpit, optional position canopy, detailed gear bays, very good intake and exhaust, optional position speed brakes with well detail, separately molded wing aileron and flaps, optional folded or flying outboard wings, separately molded rudder, AIM-7C Sparrow and AIM-9B Sidewinder loadout, drop tanks, and a multi-view, full color painting guide and decals for both aircraft listed. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Demon was an early carrier based missile armed interceptor. The F3H-2 carried two early Sparrow and 2 Sidewinder missiles. The F3H-1M was an improved version with upgraded engines, APG-51 radar and increased cannon armament. '2M' aircraft entered squadron service in march of 1956 with VF-14. The Demon was redesignated F-3C in 1962 and was replaced in 1964 by the well known F-4H Phantom II.

1995 reissue of the popular 'S' release from 1955. This is a very well detailed 1/48 scale kit and perfect for dioramas. This is the Max-3 model that comes with a 0.3mm nozzle, 7ml color cup, preset handle and 1/8 PS fitting. The T43 Class were large minesweepers originally built by the Soviet Union from 1948 to 1957. Poland produced some of this class also. The subject of this kit is a modification to carry out acoustic or radar monitoring work. This is a full-hull model with 'good' detail. Dated 1959 with dramatic Jo Kotula artwork. Given the lack of 'Famous Fighters' in the oval logo, this issue is probably from about 1963. Molded in gloss olive drab and clear with the famous Aurora 'Triangle Globe/Map' clear base. Inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) propeller shaft. Otherwise complete with all other parts, decals and instructions present.

Dated 2002 and is a reissue of the famous 1963 kit 'With Secret Bomb'. Features specially modified Lancaster fuselage with Dam Buster bomb and release mechanism, retractable landing gear, good cockpit, pilots & crew members, rotating turrets, working elevator, ailerons and trailing edge wing flaps, rotating propellers & wheels and more. Includes a four view paint guide and decals for all three aircraft listed. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Dam Busters squadron was famous for its daring raids on three German dams on May 16, 1943. Carrying the special Barnes Wallis-designed bombs, the Lancasters flew very low over the water in the face of heavy flak to drop the rotating bombs perfectly. Many did not return. The bombs did perform as promised, first skipping over the water, hitting the dam, then rolling down 30 feet before exploding with tremendous force. In an airburst, these bombs would not have damaged the dams, but since water is incompressible, the dams were breached.

StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood and plastic kits. The carving is done to the final shape and when completed it makes an impressive desk top display. Features fully carved fuselage, wings with airfoil, floats, die-cut tail feathers, small detail parts in the original envelope, sealed envelopes of Casein Glue and Wood Filler, sandpaper, detailed instructions and amazing 'near mint' condition full color decals. Includes a mint condition Starline brand F-27 "Pacific Air Lines" decal sheet. The actual kit is the 1997 reissue with the beautiful 1950s 'S' artwork and is from the original molds.
