Original issue from 1979 from the world-famous Twentieth Century Fox movie. Very large scale model that measures over 18 inches long when assembled. Detailed cockpit and rear jets are illuminated. Seated figures of Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca and Han Solo are included. The radar antenna and laser cannons tilt and swivel. The laser cannons are also illuminated. The cargo ramp opens and closes and the landing gear can be displayed or stowed to 'in-flight' mode. Molded in gray, clear and with metal parts and very small light bulbs. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the internal factory sealed bags and the parts never factory sealed (clear parts) have been inventoried complete including instructions.

Rare Mandrill reissue of Strombeckers famous Sea Dart model from the 1950s. This was a bagged-only release and never had a box. Molded in dark blue plastic. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes the correct Mandrill-issued instructions. Please NOTE that Mandrill did not furnish decals with this kit. Strombecker was very well known for producing the finest pre-carved hardwood aircraft and missile kits, but they had a very short journey into the plastic model field. After making the Sea Dart kit in 1956, they added four more for a total of 5 injection molded aircraft kits. All were discontinued in the mid 1960s. The Sea Dart was a supersonic design that could take off and land from water using retractable hydro-skis. Five prototypes were built and over 300 test flights made. The advent of the super carrier spelled the end of the Sea Dart, although 4 still exist on display today. Mandrill was founded by Bob Bennett in 1988 and he purchased the Strombecker molds from Polk's Hobby and Modelcraft. This kit was released in 1989. Mandrill also re-issued the plastic 1/130 scale Strombecker Martin China Clipper in a plain white box with no decals or instructions. These are the only two known releases from Mandrill.

Mid 1950s 'Aurora Line' logo issue with pre-1956 logo on the sides and 'Famous Fighters Of All Nations' on the box top. Inside the kit is 100% correct for an early issue. It is molded in gloss silver with a green-tinted clear canopy and clear stand arm and clear 'rectangle' stand base. The instructions show the same early logo and rectangular stand as well. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present.

This is a modern and well designed stick and tissue flying scale model designed for rubber power; however, many builders have converted these kits to electric free-flight and even R/C. This large scale kit features hand-selected laser cut balsa, contest rubber and plastic propeller, vacuformed details, color decals, full size plan, hardware, lightweight colored tissue and full step by step instructions. Aurora of Canada issue from about 1969-1972. One of the classic and very popular knight kit from the original molds. Large 1/8 scale kit is molded gloss black and has the original white plume. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Please note that the box is only graded 'fair-' because of heavy wear and cardboard loss o the lower right corner as shown. In the mid 1950s, Aurora bought three 'Knight' molds from Crown Plastics and issued them as K1, K2 and K3. These were the very first Aurora figure kits and they sported the 1956-only rectangular 'Northern Lights' logo with the correct 'Crown Line' logo inside it. The sales success of the Knight prompted Aurora to launch an entire line of figure kits. The knights themselves stayed in production long after many other figures were discontinued.

Small scale kit from the 1960s and ex-Marusan molds. Older but nicely molded model features clear canopy and full landing gear as well as full color decals. Never started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
