From the 1970s and a very nice model of the worlds first supersonic transport. Most likely from the original Nitto molds. Measures 16 inches long when completed and features over 50 pieces, very fine raised and recessed surface detail, clear cockpit and cabin windows, detailed landing gear and more. Includes Aeroflot decals for the box top aircraft. There is no assembly but NOTE: there is minor painting; the inside of the engine intake is painted silver; the engine exhaust are painted black. There is no other painting. Inventoried and the actual aircraft is complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: missing display stand.

Museum quality craftsman model in large scale features a factory pre-carved basswood hull and factory shaped deck houses, over 200 photo-etched brass and finely cast Britannia pewter parts, all brass, wood and styrene materials required and a detailed step-by-step instructions manual and two sheets of full-size plans. The kit has never been started and is like new inside. The parts that Bluejacket sealed at the factory are still in the sealed clear bags. For the advanced model collector and from 1945. Hawk was one of the few manufacturers in the 1930s that made wooden models to a constant 1/48 scale. Hawk kits were considered high quality and very complete for that time and often included metal or plastic details and superb quality drawings for the true scale enthusiast. The side of this box shows photographs of 6 other built-up Hawk aircraft kits and gives a rare look at the product line. This model features a 2D cut fuselage, wings & tails, turned and completely finished hardwood cowling, fully finished wooden wheels, clear vacuform plastic canopy (in 'near mint' condition and not yellowed), wooden stock as needed, color decal sheet, a special heavy cardstock template sheet, sandpaper, and superb, well-detailed plans. The model has not been started and is complete.
