This fine kit features fine raised panel lines and recessed control surface outlines, steering nose strut, four anti-ship missiles on wing pylons, optional position landing gear, operating rotating bomb bay, folding wings and working arresting hook. Includes a multi-view, full color paint guide and decals for both Air Forces. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Buccaneer was the world's first purpose designed low level 'below the radar' bomber. Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid metal.

1956 first issue with the hardbox in beautiful 'Excellent++ condition. It has factory-new gloss and color, four solid corners, no price tags or marks from them, no tape or tape marks (none at all - this box escaped the factory tape sealing machine), no fading or creases, no torn litho and no stains. The flaws are light edge wear and tiny chips and corner wear. Molded in the correct gloss dark green and clear with clear Revelving Globe stand. The kit has never been started. Inside, all the small parts are still in the factory sealed bag. The larger parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. The decals and instructions are 'near mint+' condition with typical light yellowing as the only flaw.

It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) of (4) small strut braces (easily made) and (1) propeller blade is broken off at the hub and that blade is missing. NOS (New Old Stock) from a long-closed hobby shop; you would be the first owner. This is a fantastic, very large scale model that is highly engineered. Features neatly die-cut plywood parts, beautiful machined balsa parts, formed plastic full cowl, formed clear plastic canopy and side windows (not yellowed and in mint condition), fully formed metal landing gear, pre-formed metal control linkage, formed and notched wing trailing and leading edges, fuel tank, extensive hardware pack and more. Includes two sheets of detailed, full size plans with text instructions. Never started. All of the smaller parts are still in the factory sealed "PILOT" clear bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including the plans. There is mention of decals anywhere and none are present.

Very rare first issue from the early 1950s. When Aurora moved to the West Hempstead plant, they planned a series of very large scale bombers. All kits released up to this time had been small. Aurora's instincts were correct, and the B-26, B-25 and B-29 were a big sales success. This box art was done by Jim Cox and was only used for about one year, making it very rare. The kit has never been started and is inventoried 100% complete with the original tissue paper, all parts, large clear stand, instructions and decals. The box has very good color, four solid corners (no repairs), no fading, stains or tears and no price tags or tape (other than the factory sealing tape). It does have moderate general wear as shown, a small (3/4" x 3/8") price tag tear on the left short side, edge wear (more on the on the left than the right) and litho chips on the top long side along the edge.

Rare. Original one-and-only issue dated 1958. The box is in 'very good' condition with brilliant color and gloss, four solid corners & no repairs, stains or tears, and no price tags or tape (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The flaws are edge and corner wear and light general wear, the two small lithograph chips at the very lower right, a light crease at the top left and other light general wear as shown. The model features a loading crane elevates and swivels 360 degrees & is fully rigged with blocks and tackle; a realistic simulation of the entire load-to-launching process can be duplicated with the trailer, truck, crane and launch pad, crew of 4, textured concrete base, missile launch pad, removable Jupiter IRBM and more. Molded in correct white and olive drab. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals are perfectly flat, intact and grade 'excellent+' condition with light age yellow as the only flaw. The instructions are in 'excellent+' condition with slight age yellowing. NOTE: Parts #35, crane corner, is broken in two. Both parts are present and they fit back together perfectly. On two of the crane booms parts, several of the fine braces are broken out. For one, all of the broken parts are present; for another a few tiny braces are broken out and missing. These are straight sections that can be replaced with stock plastic or pulled sprue.

1960s issue in the Gold Token box but with a factory sticker applied (over the tokens) which states "Gold Token Scheme Now Discontinued." Very finely molded model which features pilot, seat and basic cockpit, separately molded rudder, elevators and ailerons, detailed engine, rotating propeller & wheels and more. Includes the large, clear two-piece earlier FROG stand with a round base. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. On the 28th of September, 1936, the Bristol 138/A climbed to an altitude of 49,967 feet to establish a new world altitude record. In 1937 it climbed to 53,967 feet where the windscreen cracked. The pilot was saved by the pressure suit he was wearing.
