Rare original hardbox issue from 1958 in a beautiful 'Excellent++' condition box; this is not the common 1995 softbox reissue. Aurora had set the bar high for early armor kits; Revell had to better that and they did. This model features fine surface detail, flexible working treads, rotating turret, elevating gun, optional position hatches, four troops and more. Molded in the correct gloss deep green and with silver flexible tracks. Never started. All parts, decals and instructions have been inventoried 100% complete and are correct for this early issue. The box top has outstanding color & gloss, four solid corners and no repairs. The flaws the lightest of edge & corner wear on the lower right, very slight & isolated general wear on the two long sides and a very small & light 'ding' (about 1/4" long) on the left short panel.

1954 Pre-S hardbox issue with fantastic 'Buffalo Bill' artwork by Richard Kishady. It is easy to see why the 1950s Pre-S and S kit are considered the height of model box art and so popular today. Features recessed and very fine raised surface detail, two pilots in a basic cockpit, rotating turrets with elevating guns, complete landing gear, rotating propellers, optional position landing gear and more. Include the famous Revell clear Swivel 'Globe' Base Display stand. Molded in the correct high-gloss medium olive drab and clear plastic The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. This is the second issue of this kit; the first issue appears identical but has a one-piece stand arm and instructions that reflect that.

This hard-to-find and dated 1982. This is a very large 1/8 scale model that measures 23.75 inches long when assembled. Molded with a 'Metal Glow' body, rubber Goodyear Eagle GT tires and features a complete interior with full instrument panel, center console, shift and brake levers & contoured bucket seats; the hood opens to display the detailed Cross-Fire Injected Chevy V-8 and complete engine compartment and much, much more. Even includes Turtle Wax for the Metal Glow Body that was developed especially for Monogram.

These decals are 'mint' condition and have always been stored in a climate controlled residence. Includes the markings & paint guide sheet. On this website are two articles that fully explain how to save or reproduce older decals; please read read these before using any older model kit or aftermarket decals. To save on or eliminate shipping for decals, please order them with model kits or order enough of them to make boxing worth while. USPS clearly states that any flexible envelope will be bent 90 degrees or more within 2 inches, so I cannot send decals in a flexible envelope. A decal reinforced with cardboard will be greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go as a normal box. There is no choice; because I will not send decals to their probable destruction, shipping in a box is the only option. I inquired about sending decals via "Media Mail" as the looks like the perfect solution; however, the US Post Master specifically called out decals as not being Media mail and prohibiting using it in that way. Yes, some businesses do anyway but it is against regulations. I have a great relationship with USPS and I cannot put that at risk.

1958 release of this kit featuring classic Jo Kotula boxart. The large 1/48 scale missile comes with a fully operational scale launcher. The hardbox has 'very good' color and gloss, four solid corners, no price tag or tape tears and no torn or missing litho. Flaws include general wear and edge and corner wear as shown. The kit has never been started and is factory new inside right down to the original tissue packing paper. Aurora factory sealed the silver parts and the red missile parts; these are both still sealed. The deep blue parts were not sealed but have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes decals and instructions in 'excellent' condition. This kit must be shipped insured. The Aurora "Missile Line" is legendary. In the late 1950s, the first missile model kits sold briskly, so Aurora and Revell both planned extensive lines. However, the missile modeling craze disappeared as quickly as it started. Models that were in the works were canceled or completed if they were far enough along. Those that were completed were fine efforts but sold poorly and had very short lives, making them rare collector items today.

Very rare model from 1991 and the only 1/32 Jungmeister model ever made. It is cast in high definition resin and features a good cockpit, detailed engine with separately molded exhaust assembly and more. Includes a very large and colorful decal sheet with all red checkerboards, stripes and registration numbers. The decal sheet in is 'near mint' condition. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. This model is dedicated in memory of Mr. Beverley Howard, one of the pioneers of acrobatic flying. He thrilled many people around the glove in his little red and white Jungmeister. His showmanship was exciting to observe and John Marco saw him fly in 1964. Mr. Howard's exact Jungmesiter was manufactured in Germany in 1936 and brought over on the Hindenburg by the late Capt. Alex Papana, 'The Famed Romanian Acrobatic Pilot' who exhibited it in the 1936 National Air Races in Los Angles and several other events. Col. Mike Murphy, International Acrobatic Champion for several years, purchased the plane in 1940 and flew it in all major USA meets and competition until retiring. Beverly Howard purchased this plane from Col. Murphy in 1946 and has flow it in all major meets since that time including events in France and Germany in 1950. When this aircraft bio was written in the early 90s, the Smithsonian Air Museum planed on exhibiting this very historic aircraft when it was retired.

Molded in the correct silver plastic with a clear canopy and correct early. two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's first logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type One' or 'T1' logo and was used for short time in the 1950s.

This kit includes optional parts (down to the wheel pants) and decals to build any the many variants listed. The O3U-3/SU was developed from the O3U series and was a significant improvement over the first Corsair. Seventy-six were produced as -3s and served as observation/float planes for the battle fleet. Sixty-five of the -SU variants were produced and saw a variety of rolls with the Navy and Marines. This was Vought's last production biplane and it was loved by crews. They were taken out of fleet service in 1941 but served in various rolls before being scrapped during mid-WWII. Esoteric was known for making perhaps the finest vacuform kits. The white vac parts are so fine that they are better than some injection molded kits. Features all parts required for construction, very good cockpit, metal details and extruded strut material. Never started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bag; the white vac parts are uncut, untouched and 100% complete. Includes painting guides and decals and excellent instructions. The RAF tested a Corsair II in 1933 and a painting & marking guide is included for that aircraft; however, Esoteric clearly states that they did not provide the decals for this version. Please note that there may be very neat, adult research notes written on the instructions. These are professionally done and very helpful.

Includes the excellent Gold Medal Models Iowa-Class brass PE Detail Set in mint condition and with instructions. It is designed to be used with Tamiya, Revell & Otaki 1/350 Iowas. Also includes extensive JBOT decals for all four completed Iowa Class ships and the two incomplete ships, BB-65 Illinois and BB-66 Kentucky. This is an one-piece hull kit with hundreds of parts and 'very good' detail. Ideal for R/C conversion as at one point, these molds clearly were used for a motorized version; may be from Otaki molds. Aero models was out of Brooklyn, New York probably from the late 1950s and early 1960s. The Aero series contained a minimum of four large aircraft and were popular for their good performance with the RC equipment of the time. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. It is like factory-new inside. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes full size plans.
