Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Exc++
$34
Still factory sealed and dated 1973. The Buccaneer was the world's first purpose designed low level 'below the radar' bomber. Low level strike aircraft have a shorter airframe life limit due to the stresses of low level flying, so the Buccaneer was designed to be very strong and even had many sub-assemblies milled from solid metal. The actual kit features a opening unique rotating bomb bay, folding wings, pilot figure, working arresting hook and more.

Still factory sealed. 1998 issue of the classic 1969 kit. This large 1/24 scale model is a Well detailed kit of Major Yuri Gagarin's spacecraft. Features detachable crew compartment, ejection seat and Cosmonaut figure. Molded in metallic silver and clear and includes display stand. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions. Gagarin's flight was the first of 6 successful Vostok launches from the secret space center at Baikonur. Gagarin made one orbit in 108 minutes, which was enough to make him the first man in space. Titov followed in Vostok 2 and made 17 orbits. Other launches featured 4 mile passes in orbit, and Vostok 6 featured the first Woman Astronaut, Valentina Tereshkova. It is interesting that Vostok did not have attitude control for correct placement when re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The sphere was designed with the weight off-center, so it would automatically swing into position during the heat of reentry.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Fair
$50
Still factory sealed. This highly detailed model has 173 pieces and is an accurate representation of a Galleon-type of warship from about 1450. Note the 8 towers, which housed men-of-arms for when the ship drew near the opponent. Includes billowing sails. NOTE: the box displays much higher than the 'Sealed Fair' rating; it is ranked that low because 4/5 of the right top box side is missing. The inner box is still intact and the factory seal has kept the box from ever being opened.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc

Still factory sealed and ideal for 1/700 dioramas. This model contains two detailed, military-style factories, the type that were commonly seen near a port or an inland industrialized area.
Resin Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed NM
$59
Rare. This is one of only two models of this ship ever made in 1/700 scale. This waterline kit is of exceptional quality. It is pressure cast, so there are no air holes or pockets. The detail is remarkable down to the very fine decking. The entire superstructure is cast with the hull, which makes it a much better build than the Pit Road kit. the hull has greater detail than is possible with injection molded kits of this scale and the details are also resin. Because of how it is case, there is very little building to do; just the finer details need to be assembled. Includes eleven view plans (3 plus 8 detailed sections) which double as instructions. Never started. The hull is in mint condition as are the smaller parts. After studying the plans, I believe the kit to be complete. However, you will require some stock metal for antennas, masts and the bigger gun barrels. Some scratch building may be required for some finer details. This kit is so much like the Pit Road model [when I hold them side by side] that I suspect that a partially-built Pit Road hull & superstructure were used as the original master.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
$54
Dated 2000 and features optional position landing gear, movable rudder, optional position doors and the clear 1950s Revell 'Globe' stand. Includes a beautiful, large and colorful United Air Lines decal sheet. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Sealed Good++
$59
Still factory sealed. 1987 reissue of the original 1967 kit that features the correct parts unique to the Yorktown that differentiated her from the sisters Enterprise and Hornet, 20 SBDs, 20" long hull, movable cranes and optional position elevators. The box art shows the wartime finish, but the kit contains decals for this or the prewar high-vis finish. The Yorktown was one of three prewar sister carriers along with Enterprise (CV-6) and Hornet (CV-8). The Yorktown saw extensive action in the Coral Sea and underwent temporary repairs in record time so she could take part in the Battle of Midway. Damaged by bombs and eventually a spread of submarine-fired 'Long Lance' torpedoes, she was lost after an epic struggle to save the ship.
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good

Red Series issue that is very finely molded in medium gray and clear plastic. Features separately molded ailerons, elevators & rudder, good cockpit, crew of 3, optional position landing gear, rotating propeller & wheels and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Frog is considered the father of injection molded model kits. The Lines Brothers opened Frog in 1932, capitalizing on the fever caused by Lindberg's solo transatlantic flight. Almost overnight the western populations became 'Air-Minded', and anything aviation was in high demand. Frog created a quality line of stick and tissue rubber powered aircraft and gliders as well as innovative ready-to-fly rubber powered aircraft that required no assembly. The box even contained a built-in rubber motor winder and fuselage holder. Model airplane flight competitions were popular in Great Britain, and one category was 'Rise Off the Ground', or ROG. By changing this to 'Flies Right Off the Ground', the FROG name was born. In 1936 Frog created a line of injection molded plastic models, the first such kit line in the world (Hawk sold a line of injection molded aircraft models in 1934 but they were factory assembled and painted). Named 'Penguin' after the bird that does not fly, the kits were innovative beyond the means of production. At a time when models were simply built by wingspan, the Penguin line was a constant 1/72 scale. Furthermore, a large 1/72 Short S.30 Empire class flying boat contained a full interior and lights! A line of accessories such as AA guns, tractors, hanger, ambulance, sound locator, searchlights and lighting kits were quickly added to the line. WWII caused a pause in production. After the war the box color changed from silver to green, and Penguin kits were also marketed in the USA. Production ended in 1950. Frog quickly expanded and released the Red, Blue, Orange, Black, Green, Gold Token, Spin and Comet series as well as Trail Blazers and several others. It is noteworthy that while most manufacturers in the 1940s/50 were making toy-like models, Frog attempted to make very realistic models. For example, 'detailing' kits with excessively large rivets was once very popular. Frog ignored this trend and continued to mold aircraft with fine panel lines and no rivets. As a result, Frog kits can be built into very realistic replicas. Production ended in the late 1970s, but Frog molds are still in use around the world.
