Cleanly molded and nicely detailed glider kit that features fine raised surface detail, a basic cockpit, clear canopy, display stand and decals. From Dusty Rhodes - The SZD-9 Bocian ("Stork") was a notably successful design, exported to 33 countries. 620 aircraft were produced between 1952 and 1966, including a highly modified high altitude research version. The kit manufacturer Siedlce often printed PZW on their boxes. These kits and PZWPT and are all from this Polish company. They are no longer in operation.

1960s Type Three logo issue in an 'excellent' box with very colorful artwork of a trio of Free French planes bombing a North African target. This is a well molded model that features rotating turret with elevating guns, crew members, good interior and landing gear detail and more. Has decals for both aircraft. Small scale kit with recessed panel lines, full landing gear and decals for JAT. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. Dubena was a Czechoslovak model manufacturer in the mid 1970s. They issued a total of 14 kits; eight were originally issued in the 1960s as bagged model by a still-unknown Czech manufacturer. Dubena aquired the molds, added two of their own (TWA Constellation and SE-210 Caravelle), added boxes and marketed them in the mid 1970s. 10 of the kits were injection molded Airliners in 1/230, 1/245 and 1/249 scale; they were the Fokker F-27, Lockheed Electra, Convair 880, Caravelle, Comet IV, DC-7B, Boeing 707, TU-104, Convair 440 and Lockheed Constellation TWA. The last four kits issued were all military, ex-Boleslav vacuformed kits of the Yak-15, Yak-17. LaGG-3 and LaGG-5.

Dated 1965. This full hull kit features very good detail, pre-molded ratlines, detailed deck, billowing sails and more. Includes display stand. Measures 8.5 inches inches long when assembled. Molded in dark wood brown and off-white. A photo of the built kit on the instructions serves as a standing rigging diagram. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. This is one of the 'intermediate' line of Pyro ship kits, which at the time were Pyro called '$1.00 Models' (later $1.25). All were roughly the same size and were a significant increase in detail from the '50 Cent Models'. Kits in the $1.00 line included the Skipjack, Racing Yawl, Persian Gulf Trader, Burma River Pirate, Polynesian Outrigger Canoe, Cutty Sark, Charles W. Morgan, HMS Bounty and HMS Ark Royal. 50 Cent kits in 1965 included the Mayflower, Barbary Pirate, USS Constitution, Santa Maria, Golden Hind, Half Moon, Bon Homme Richard, War Brig, HMS Victory and Flying Cloud.

HMS Prince of Wales saw very active service in WWII from fighting the Bismarck with HMS Hood to Far East service with the HMS Repulse off the Malay peninsula. It was in this battle that both ships were sunk by Japanese airborne torpedo attack. The kit has never been started.
