Earlier issue dated 1969. This is one of Revell's more famous 1/32 aircraft kits and during development they had full access to the Stuka at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. The model features a complete Junkers Jumo engine, removable cowling, detailed cockpit and gunners station, sliding canopy, rotating propeller & wheels, bomb load and more. NOTE: this kit has very minor sub-assembly done to 'professional' quality as follows: engine halves; rear seat and control stick to floor. There is no other assembly and zero painting. Inventoried and NOTE: missing elevator brace; otherwise complete with all other parts, decals and instructions.

This great kit includes all ground equipment seen on the cover, ground crew and even a vacuform diorama base. Decals and instructions are included for both the aircraft and the ground equipment. The ground equipment is all still in the internal factory sealed bags. The aircraft parts have been inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. There is no assembly but NOTE: the top of the instrument panel is painted black and three small decals are very neatly cut from the decal sheet and are present; so the decal sheet is 100% complete.

Still factory sealed. This rare issue was is directly from the collection of the original owner, who purchased this model on March 15, 1961. As you will see from the listings, he purchased many other kits that day so it must have been quite the shopping spree! The Type 2 logo paper header is in 'Excellent' condition. Molded in the correct light blue plastic with a clear canopy and the early, two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix's second logo for plastic models is known among collectors as the 'Type Two' or 'T2' logo and was used from the late 1950s into the early 1960s.
