Please NOTE that the box displays better than the 'good' grade but it is rated as such because there is a lot of clear tape on the two ends and the very ends of the two long sides.

This early issue of Roco-HO Model Miniatures was made by Ing. Heinz Roessler, Salzburg, Austria. Includes the original cardboard packaging and blister; opened but is complete with all pieces. Always adult owned and never played with. Tiny details such as tool heads (shovels) are neatly and precisely painted silver; the handles are brown. The tracks are black. This painting is done to amazing 'near mint' quality.

SALE!! Includes two kits in the one box shown. The difference between L'Arsenal #70005 T-47B and #70006 T-47B is long vs. short torpedo tubes. All resin parts are still factory sealed for both kits. Includes instructions for each model. There is only one decal sheet, but it has enough markings for a good dozen French Navy ships. NOTE: includes only one set of brass PE parts; missing the other one. The actual kit is very rare. These waterline modeles features high-definition resin cast hull & details, numerous brass PE details & railings (for one kit only) and even one decal sheet with hull numbers for all ships of the class (listed in the title). The T 47 class or Surcouf Class were the first destroyers built for the French Navy after the Second World War. Twelve ships were built between 1955 and 1957. The ships were modernised in the 1960s and decommissioned in the 1980s, when they were replaced by the Cassard and Georges Leygues-class frigates. The class was authorised in 1949 and were designed as aircraft carrier escort vessels. Three were modified to become flagships, four became anti-air guided missile destroyers and five became anti-submarine destroyers. One member of the class survives, Maillé-Brézé as a museum ship at Nantes.
