Very rare factory display model of the 1970s DARPA SIAM project, which was short for Self-Initiated Anti-Aircraft Missile. The idea was to develop a completely autonomous air-defense missile. One of the most obvious purposes was for use onboard submarines. The submarine can hear the aircraft or helicopter as it approached since the sound propagates through the water. The submarine could then launch a SIAM buoy to the surface, where the missile would automatically detect and attack any incoming aircraft. It was also theorized that SIAM could be launched vertically from the submarine itself. SIAM was tested in the early 1980s and was generally successful. DARPA handed SIAM over to the Navy, where it was deactivated due to funding. This factory model is complete with the original stand. The wooden base has a metal disk showing a submarine launching a SIAM, which is shown executing the 'dual homing' functions. The missile is just over 7 inches long. The base and metal badge are 'near mint' condition. The missile is excellent, with all original paint and decals. There is some minor wear on some of the port-side gold decals.

Rare and from 1959. Revell had an impressive line of trackside structures. The Sand & Pump house features excellent detail, parts molded in three colors, clear windows & door 'glass', swinging doors & sliding doors that open and close, movable sand spout, numerous accessories and three figures. Never started. The parts all all paperwork are still in the internal factory sealed bag. Literally the entire contents of the kit is factory sealed.

First issue dated 1956 with the "S" kit artwork that has made these kits so famous and collectible. The box is in investment-grade "Near Mint" condition. It has factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no creases or tears, no missing litho and no price tags. The only flaws are very light wear and short sections of old tape residue at the center of the two long sides (the tape is long since gone). This issue has 'SeaMaster' in yellow on the box top; the other issue has it in red. Inside, this well molded jet seaplane includes the clear 'Revelving' globe display stand. The airplane is molded in gloss gray and clear. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, decals and instructions present. Instructions are 'near mint+' and the decals are 'excellent+++' with slight yellowing as the only significant flaw.

From 1983 and very nicely detailed for that time. Features very fine raised panel lines and some recessed lines. Includes cockpit and crew, rotating turrets, optional parts for all versions including unique RAAF aircraft, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position bomb bay doors for two variants (no bomb load included) and decals with paint guide for three aircraft. The RAAF aircraft is a natural silver finish. The model as never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The box is only 'good' because of some age foxing.

Hard-to-find first issue in the 1968-dated hardbox. This kit was issued in conjunction with the TV series 'The Invaders' and represents the spaceship on the series. The box has like-new color and gloss, solid corners and no tape, price tags or litho tears. A slight bit of wear on the right short side and a very slight (and hard-to-see) crease at the lower right are the only flaw worth noting. The kit features retractable landing legs, detailed interior with four figures, removable top and optional clear top. Inside, the kit is mint. The parts are the original gloss medium gray. The model has never been started and has been inventoried complete with all parts and instructions present.

Rare and a very well detailed model. Features hardwood and plywood parts, quality strip stock for planking, an extensive set of wood and metal fittings, flags and much more. The parts that were rubber-banded together (wood) are still in the factory rubber bands. The extensive text instructions are at the bottom of one of the two plan sheets.

It features revolving bomb bay that drops a nuclear bomb, trigger action opens the canopy and ejects the pilot, boarding ladder and ground crew member. This is the only release with the ejection feature. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear plastic. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including all parts, metal spring, decals and instructions. The box grades 'good-' and has wear & creasing as shown.

1962 hardbox issue with framable box art by John Steel. This very large scale kit measures over 19 inches long when assembled and has great detail throughout. Features brass plated parts, elevating & movable fire tower, bow monitor, hose outlets, fire hoses, rotating deck guns, hose reels, radar, railings, crew, detailed wheel house, display stand, bollards, jackstaff, propellers and much more. Molded in black, wood and white with a brass plated tree. The kit has never been started. About 90% parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The few larger parts that are not sealed have been inventoried complete. Includes decals and instructions. The box is presentable but at the lower end of the 'good' condition range. The amazing 'Fire Fighter' was built in the 1930s as the last word in maritime harbor fire fighting. She served with distinction with the New York City Fire Department from 1938 through 2020. She and her crew fought more than 50 major fires including SS Normandie in 1942, SS El Estero in 1943, 1973 SS Sea Witch & Esso Brussels in 2001 and many dozens of others. Today she is a museum ship restored to fully operating condition.
