The 1972 aircraft belonged to Captain David Roder, who has flown 148 combat missions in Vietnam in B-52s and F-105s. He was later a hostage in Iran, was released and continued his distinguished military career. The second circa 1972 aircraft was based at Langley AFB Virginia and flown by Captain Malcolm Emerson. The first circa 1976 aircraft 90127 with the Bicentennial 'Pretel' on the nose; the second is 60458 "Thunderchicken" as it appeared at the 1976 William Tell Weapons Meet. USPS clearly states that any flexible envelope will be bent 90 degrees or more within 2 inches, so I cannot send decals in a flexible envelope. A decal reinforced with cardboard will be greater than 1/4" thick, which USPS says must go as a normal box. There is no choice; because I will not send decals to their probable destruction, shipping in a box is the only option.

Rare 1955 first and only release with the Norton Sound Missile Test Ship. This special holiday promotional box includes all three ship models in 'factory-new' condition. All of the small parts are still in the clear factory sealed bags. The larger parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete. Instructions and decals are present as well as the colorful internal presentation cardboard. Please note that the box has great color and gloss, but significant wear as shown. NOTE that the paint, glue and brush are not present.

1957 'S' issue with fantastic artwork. This is the first issue of the Revell PBM and it is an excellent for that time. Features rotating gun turrets, optional position port and starboard bomb bay doors and bomb load, rotating propellers, optional position crew entry doors and more. Molded in the correct gloss navy blue and clear plastic and includes the famous Revell "S" Clear Display Stand. Rare first issue dated 1959. This is one of a very famous series of space kits that Monogram made with the designer Willey Ley. The model is molded in three colors and features a two stage rocket with separating stages, upper shuttle craft, retracting landing gear, launching pad and five figures. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, instructions and the special "Passenger Rocket" booklet. The decals are in amazing 'excellent++' condition, as are the instructions and booklet. The box has 'very good' color and gloss, four solid corners, no missing litho and no repairs, fading or stains. There is light general wear, edge and corner wear and the long sides of the box are bowed out slightly.

Still factory sealed and in remarkable investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. The seal is intact. 1969 hardbox issue. This kit was originally designed as a gas powered flying model. However, Aurora discontinued the gas powered line very shortly after introduction due to returns and liability issues. Since the mold investment was already made, Aurora marketed these kits as large scale static models and they became know as "Screwdriver Kits" to collectors. For example, the 1/32 scale B-25 was issued in Gas U-Control and then static - but the P-51 may have only been issued in static.

Limited release model that features fine, recessed panel lines, film instruments and many brass photoetched parts. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. A total of 125 Glen submarine-based seaplanes were built between 1941 and 1943, when they were replaced by the Aichi M6A1 Seiran. The first operational Glen mission was on December 17, 1941 when I-7 launched her aircraft for a dawn reconnaissance over Pearl Harbor to assess the damage done in the December 7th attack. In September of 1942, Warrant Officer Fujita took off in his Glen from I-25 and became the only aircraft to ever bomb the continental United States when he dropped phosphorus bombs in two attacks on the Oregon coast. Decals for both of these aircraft are included.

Rare. 1957 first and only issue of this important test vehicle for studying re-entry of ICBM warheads. The box top is rated 'excellent++' condition with factory-new color and gloss, four solid corners, no stains or tears, no missing litho, the original price tag on the top short side and no tape (other than the factory sealing tape, of course). The flaws include very light & isolated general wear as shown and very light edge wear. Features a well detailed X-17 missile with three stages that can be separated, launch pad, crew, tracking instruments and more. Molded in olive drab and white plastic. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The decals a flat and in 'excellent' condition overall; the instructions are in 'excellent+' condition with typical age yellowing as the only significant flaw.

Molded in the correct light blue plastic with a clear canopy and correct early. two-piece clear Airfix 'teardrop-base' stand. Airfix used the 'T2' logo from the late 1950s to the early 1960s.

Likewise, if you only purchase decals, try to order enough decals make the shipping cost (per sheet) worth while.
