This kit is still factory sealed in the clear cello wrap but the seal has splits. Pocher made the finest automobile models ever created. The detail and working parts on these long out-of-production, big 1/8 scale kits is amazing. This kit has 1954 parts of plastic, brass, steel, leather, iron, rubber, copper and many other material. Working features include operating steering, working suspension, lights that operate from the dashboard, doors that open and close with operating door latches and handles, starting handle that operates the crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, V-belts, Fan, dynamo and more in the engine and much more. Recommended for experienced modelers only. This is the desirable early version with the most realistic wheel construction. Each wheel is built just like a real spoke wheel with individual spokes and well over 100 parts each. Shipping insurance (and Express Mail for international customers) is required.

Very rare model from the 1950s of this early British Prop-jet airliner in Jersey Airlines livery; Jersey was the first operator in the World to sue the Herald in scheduled service. Before entering passenger service, the Dart-Herald went on 6 world tours covering 250,000 miles and visited more than 60 countries. Heralds carried 56 passengers or 6.5 tons of freight at a range of 1000 miles and a cruising speed of 275 mph. The kit features separately molded rudder, ailerons and elevators, two position passenger and cargo doors, rotating propellers and wheels, boarding stairs, seated and standing pilots and stewardess. The kit even includes a cork-stopped glass container of gray or silver paint which is still good. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, extensive decals with all stripes and instructions. Decals are the best I have seen and are 'Near Mint+', almost factory new. The instructions are 'near mint' with typical yellowing only. Postal insurance is required for this kit.

1969 issue that is very well molded and vastly superior to it's contemporary, the Aurora SE-5. Features factory 3D cut fuselage, 2D cut wings and tail, plastic wheels, propeller, pilot & canopy, high quality light plywood printwood wing and landing gear struts & shocks, wood stock as required, cardstock templates for assembly and sanding, two colorful decal sheets for RAF No. 43 Squadron including all black & white checkerboards, national insignia, fin flash and even optional Squadron Leader's red and white checkerboard for the vertical stabilizer and more. The very large, fold-out plans are exceptional. They feature large, multi-view, detailed drawings of the completed model, small detailed views, wing and fuselage sections, numerous detail notes, comprehensive text building instructions, painting and marking guide, aircraft specs and more. Never started. Inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The plastic parts are still in the original wax paper bag. Avian was manufactured by Minikscale Ltd, Liverpool, 19, Great Britain. Avian advertised tese as 'Quarter Scale Super Detailed Solid Kits' that are 'Accurate True-To-Scale Models' and they certainly are. Other models in the 1/48 constant scale series included SE-5A Scout, Albatros D-III, Sopwith Camel, Spitfire Mk.V, Hurricane Mk.IIc, Mustang Mk.1, Tempest, F-100 Super Sabre, Supermarine Swift F4 and Supermarine S.6.B Schnieder Trophy Racer. This limited edition, large scale OA-4M features detailed cockpits and gear wells, many photoetched parts, numerous cast metal details, rubber tires, optional position canopy, leading edge slats and speed brakes and a painting guide and decals for two Marine aircraft. The kit has never been started. Some parts are still in the factory sealed bags - all the clear parts, cast metal pieces, rubber tires and PE fret. The parts that are not internally sealed (plastic pieces) have been inventoried complete, including decals and instructions. NOTE: the factory decals have a 1/2" close tear across one of the "H&MS-12 OUTLAW" decals. The plastic kit is missing (1) seat detail C11, but that is present in the Avionix resin cockpit - so I am still calling the kit complete because of this.

So to eliminate or save significantly on shipping charges, please order them with model kits. Likewise, if you only purchase decals, try to order enough decals make the shipping cost (per sheet) worth while.

From 1956 - the first and only issue of this rare holiday season gift set. Contains the A-4D Skyhawk and HRS-1 both with US Marine markings. The box has excellent color and gloss, four solid corners and no tape, price tags, torn or missing litho. There is light wear and the typical 'cross hatch' marks from the original ribbon that Revell shipped these kits with. Inside, the HRS-1 is molded in the correct dark blue plastic and the famous clear Revell base and correct Marines decals for this this issue. The A-4 is molded in the correct medium gray with the clear base and correct and colorful Marines markings for this kit. The instructions are correct also and show these unique decals on the models. The kits have never been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, including decals and instructions in excellent condition.

Very rare and from 1948. This is a completely prefabricated, balsa and hardwood super-stunt control line design by Leon Shulman. At that time it was capable of doing every possible maneuver that control line models could perform and some that could not be done, such as a loop and vertical 8's. It can literally be built in a few hours and features factory cut and carved, high-quality wooden parts, shaped and hollowed leading edges, tapered training edges, hardware, fully formed wire landing gear (or to be used as a take-off trolley that remained on the runway to improve performance), covering tissue and more. The full size plans include heavily illustrated step-by-step assembly as well as complete flying tips from the famous designer. NOTE: this kit has 'excellent' quality sub assembly as follows: bellcrank to elevator; upper & lower fuselage and hardwood reinforcements assembled. Horizontal stabilizer and elevator are very neatly sanded. There is no other assembly. The model has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts and paperwork included. Please note that the covering tissue has bug damage. In 1948 Drone Diesel also produced and marketed the 'Dronette' Sport Flyer & Stunt Trainer and the 'Hot-Rock,' a National Open Stunt Champion in 1947. These model, with the 'Secret Weapon,' promoted 'Diesel At Its Best,' the Drone Diesel Engine with a Class B displacement of .297, bore of 21/32 and Stroke of 7/8". The compression ratio was whopping 18 to 1. A speed control and variable compression head were also available.
