This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, propeller, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns), stock and customizing decals and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still have 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: like many MPC kits of this era, the decals are lifting and peeling off of the backing paper. You will need to supply your own decals if you are building the kit.

Very early Tamiya Mokei kit dated 1964 with a high-gloss box top and very collectible artwork. Very good quality for that time and features all very fine raised panel lines, working flaps, rudder, ailerons & elevator, detailed engine, retractable landing gear, retractable landing gear, opening canopy and external drop tanks. The kit is engineered to be motorized and includes all hardware to do so, but as was the rule back then, Tamiya required the motor to be sold separately. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The bags still have the Tamiya paper headers in 'excellent' condition and even the factory glue is included.

In the 1970, MPC issued the popular 'Profile Series' kits. You could build the model any one of the three (and sometimes 4) ways illustrated on the box cover and the kit was from quality Airfix molds. This Black Widow includes decals for the 425th Night Fighter Sq, 9th USAAF, Picauville, France 1944; 550th Night Fighter Squadron, 5th USAAF, Morotai, Dutch Indies 1944 or the prototype P-61A-10-NO model flown by Lt. R.C. Bolinder. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in amazing 'mint' condition which is rare for any MPC Profile Series kit.

1970s issue of this quality MPC model in the popular Profile Series line. Includes markings for three aircraft: 466 BG, 8th AF - 98 BG, 15th AF and RAF 356 Sqdn, SEAC. This was a well detailed model for that time featuring elevating guns and rotating turrets, movable control surfaces, retractable landing gear, crew members, rotating propellers and wheels, optional position crew entry door & ladder and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The decals are in 'excellent++' condition which is rare for these 1970s MPC kits. They are flat, 100% intact, clear and only have the smallest bit of micro-cracking.
