Rare one-and-only 1960 issue that contains both the DH-4 and Curtis JN-4 Jenny. The box is in exceptional condition with 'excellent' color and gloss, four solid corners, no tape or price tags (and no marks from either), no stains, fading or torn/missing litho. Very light wear and edge wear are the only significant flaws. Aurora really went out of the way to make this a special kit; however, it did not sell well and was retired after one year. Features completely new box artwork, a DH-4 molded in gloss dark green and black, the JN-4 molded in gloss bright yellow and black, great custom decal sheets for both aircraft and special 'Barnstormer' instructions for each aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. The instructions sheets are both in 'near mint' condition and the decal sheets are both completely flat with the typical age yellowing as the only significant flaw.

Retails new for $315. Museum quality craftsman model in large scale features a factory pre-carved basswood hull and factory shaped deck houses, over 200 photo-etched brass and finely cast Britannia pewter parts, all brass, wood and styrene materials required and a detailed step-by-step instructions manual and two sheets of full-size plans. The kit has never been started and is like new inside. The parts that Bluejacket sealed at the factory are still in the sealed clear bags. The few large parts that were never sealed have been inventoried complete. With all paperwork present.

For the advanced model collector and from 1945. Hawk was one of the few manufacturers in the 1930s that made wooden models to a constant 1/48 scale. Hawk kits were considered high quality and very complete for that time and often included metal or plastic details and superb quality drawings for the true scale enthusiast. The side of this box shows photographs of 6 other built-up Hawk aircraft kits and gives a rare look at the product line. This model features a 2D cut fuselage, wings & tails, turned and completely finished hardwood cowling, fully finished wooden wheels, clear vacuform plastic canopy (in 'near mint' condition and not yellowed), wooden stock as needed, color decal sheet, a special heavy cardstock template sheet, sandpaper, and superb, well-detailed plans. The model has not been started and is complete.

Late 1950s rare first issue of this very high quality, full-hull kit. Features a one piece hull, nine individually elevating 16" guns, rotating main and secondary turrets, fully detailed forward and aft island structures with radar, gun directors and range finders, individually molded 20mm guns with shields, helicopter, full rudder and propeller detail, detailed deck, flag sheet and full decals including draft markings. Never started. Inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, the #45 jackstaff. Easily made from wire or pulled sprue as it is simply a flag pole. Includes all other parts, decals and instructions. The decals are flat, 100% intact and in 'excellent' condition but the white and black colors are off-register. If you want to build the model, I recommend the superb Starfighter Decals 1/500 Cold War Cruisers which has multiple sizes of hull numbers in large quantities and much more.
